I would rate this as an average airport. Kind of slow security and the free WiFi usually is very slow, or don't work at all...... Like today when I'm writing this tip roaming as WiFi is dead.
If you are stay in a hotel next to the airport, there is a free shuttle service from 4 am until midnight, departing at platform B25 (near the taxi)
Sergei Z.August 31, 2014Don't waste your money on Flytoget. Domestic trains is fast (around 20 minutes to get to Oslo Center), easy to use and twice cheaper (80 nok vs. 170 nok)
Self service bag drop located at check-in point D. Norwegian, SAS, Blue1.
Excellent service at Fast Track Gardermoen Highly appteciated when there is only 15 min to departure.. Bangkok this time. Did not loose plane :-)

Keep to the left right after entering the international gate area. You will avoid the tax free and save loads of money.

The "you need a password card" for the WiFi is now deprecated. Just connect to 'Airport', and in a browser enter your cellphone number.

Grab your morning-baguette at Upper Crust far down in the domestic terminal. Less ppl and better selection. The brie w bacon & cranberry is tasty.

Airport fast train: don't queue at the ticket machines. On the left hand side, you can just swipe your credit card. If you need a copy of the ticket (expenses), request it afterwards at flytoget.no

Check official website and food are expensive here as we all know about norway's price.
Free drinking water fountain on a ground floor and no queues to toilet.
You'll find power suckets for charging at the Norwegian Aquavit bar by gate 41.
You can call this the office. A really big airport. With a nice variety of duty free. But expensive.
If you're leaving from gate 19, leave plenty of time to get there. It's one hell of a long walk!

Spring 2014 - *major* construction work going on. Make sure you know where your gate is.
Best airport in Europe, never any queues for security, it's a pleasure to travel through
