Brew YorkAugust 29, 2011Despite its fratty clientele, they serve good beer outdoors in a shady, communal environment. Can't say that about any of the fake "beer gardens" PR flacks have tried to convince us exist this summer.
The Garden is a serious venue. Grab a beer and pick from the wide range of eats offered.
You are more then likely to run into people you know. It's often a great time. Try there Absolute Lemonade - dangerously delicious.

$15 dollar pitchers during a big game (Giants vs. Packers) isn't the best deal...just sayin'.

They do not enforce no smoking policy, it is very disruptive when your trying to enjoy your afternoon

Not very family friendly. Bohemian Beer Garden has nailed that market. Even in the middle of the day they'll yell at you for having a stroller.
