Right before you hit the bridge, there's an area for off-road parking. Park, climb up the semi-hidden trail, and enjoy the magnificent view of the lake in the day, the sunset, or stars at night.

Lovely view of the Austin skyline and Lady Bird Lake! Great, breezy cross over when running the trail with inspirational, artsy graffiti on the nearby train trellis.

Amazing hotel with great views of the ladybird lake, only if you take a room with a view. How ever the hotel has only one restaurant , which is in their lobby, so do go out for food.
The guide says warm, dry August days around sunset are the best time for bats.
