The best place for a picnic when the weather's nice, we love sitting by the lake and chilling. Not too many people on weekdays. See dancing Japanese "Elvises" at the entrance on every Sunday!
Cherry blossoms are amazing here, it also gets incredibly crowded with hanami picnics, but it's a nice happy crowd.

It's a big park and has both cycling and jogging paths! Great spot for picnics but the grass is not weeded so don't forget to bring a picnic mat when you go!(btw the food shop there has dippin'dots!)

蟹釣り、ピクニック、観覧車、バーベキュー、水族館とここでかなりなんでも出来てしまう。海水浴は出来るけど、もう少し水がきれいになって欲しい。
My favorite park to relax on off days. The largest park in Tokyo has vast lawn fields facing Tokyo Bay, a bird sanctuary, an aquarium, an Ferris wheel and BBQ space. Cannot miss gorgeous sunset!
There is the most highest Ferris wheel in Japan at this park.
四季を通じて多くのイベントが開催される。近接する明治大学、帝京大学はゲートスルーで繋がっており一体開発されている。夏はじゃぶじゃぶ池、秋は芝生ゾーンでピクニック、夏はビアガーデンと楽しみがある。2014の春は四季の森竣工後初の大型イベントを行うタイミングになるだろうから、どんなイベントが行われるか楽しみがある。

Great for picnics and walking. There's also a lot of joggers, so if you're into a little exercise, it's a great place for that too. Best to go in may or October.
The garden are very well maintained & plenty of greenery. The air feels especially fresh here. Very good for a walk in the park & to see the architectural buildings.
花見はゆっくりできる。ミーハーな感じがない。ファミリー多い。近くのスーパーが便利。ピクニックにも便利。
Hikarigaika Park is quite big and Great for jogging, cycling, dogs running and loud children:-) dozens of block of flats around so as quite shopping places and restaurants incl Subway.
The bakery & shop in middle of park opens from 9am.
Bring a blanket so you can have a nice picnic during plum season. They don't have a lot of picnic tables.
A nice park to cater for all from tennis court, waiting people practising baseball, exercise apparatus for stretching and I can imagine will have great cherry blossoms in the right time

開園は9時半～16時半（水曜休み）。長津田駅からこどもの国線に乗り換えて「こどもの国」駅で下車、もしくは、鶴川駅からバス（主に、小田急バス鶴07 系統）で約15分。敷地は結構広いので、歩くのに慣れていない方は注意。遊園地にあるような大がかりなアトラクションはあまりない。小動物とふれあえる動物園あり（16時まで）。牧場には牛と羊がいる。牧場のソフトクリームがおいしいので、ここを訪れたらぜひ食べたい。

一年中四季折々の日本の風景が楽しめます。大きな広場、バーベキュー、プールにボート、子供たちの遊具に日本庭園、何でもあります。併設の昭和記念館は、昭和という時代の記録を収めた博物館。一見の価値ありです！
立川駅から向かうと、無料で入れる広場がある。かなりだだっぴろくて、ここだけでもずいぶん遊べます。横の昭和天皇記念館にある小さなカフェは、カレーがおいしい。あと地ビールもあるよ。
