- John Archievald GoteraFebruary 19, 2013I had the mandalay special noodle which was absolutely an extraterrestrial party for my mouth. Exotic experience. I was impressed enough that I went here once more. My overall experience: 25/30
- Nirmal UtwaniMay 20, 2015I tried the Green Tea Salad (the authentic one without lettuce) and it was the best Asian salad I have ever had. I also tried the Mango Chicken which was good. Try an authentic tea for sure.Upvoted Mar 11
- Favorite Burmese place in the city. The tea leaf salad stands out because they don’t add lettuce. Get the lamb curry and the balada. Skip the samusa soup here, it’s better at Burma Love.
- What we order every time and leave stuffed and happy: mohingna (fish chowder with noodles), tea leaf salad, samusa, balada, mandalay special noodles, and a curry and/or veggie.
- FarnazApril 1, 2013My mom is from Burma, so I can safely say that this place has authentic Burmese food! Try the Moo Hin Nga (Fish Chowder) and the Ong No Kaw Soi (Coconut Chicken Soup). Very flavorful dishes.
- Lauren MacSeptember 20, 2015Make reservations or prepare to wait over an hour. Don't miss the starter pita or the mango chicken. Great use of spice and flavor that stays true to Burma, fun decorations & lively atmosphere

- Diana ArzJune 19, 2016Unlike other places it's open before 5 pm. Food is great! Delish beef Rangoon, awesome noodles. Get jasmine flower tea, it's amazing✨.
- Peter RuzevichAugust 7, 2017One of my favorite places. Saffron rice and balada are always on the receipt. Haven't had something I didn't like, just some more than others.

- Jeff WeinsteinAugust 9, 2014Go with 6+ people to try a lot of dishes. Tea leaf salad, rainbow salad, and a bunch of noodle plates.
- Mika JainJanuary 11, 2015If you like walnuts and are ordering vegetarian, you can't go wrong with the Tofu with Broccoli and Walnuts. Very flavorful, filling, and served with rice.
- The staff is very efficient while also being kind. The jasmine flower tea comes in a wine glass so you can watch the bulb open up.
- Anton ShusterJuly 7, 2015Incredible. All the desserts are so tasty. Come here for your birthday and tell them you're there for your birthday; you won't regret it.
- Tea leaf salad is awesome - they mix it in front of you. My friends once waited 45 mins to get a table, while it took me the same amount of time to find parking.
- Tea leaf salad was delicious and so were string beans and coconut rice. Our regular Burmese food order. However we were super bloated all day 😯
- Amy BFebruary 3, 2018Expect a wait & don’t stray. They don’t work too hard to find who is next. BUT expect excellent service & delicious food. They aim to please.
- Sherry LiJuly 30, 2015Less of a wait and better food than Burma superstar. The rainbow salad and volcano beef (off menu but definitely ask for it) are must haves.
- Esther VerdegemDecember 22, 2014Try the rainbow or tea leaf salad! It's really good. Mandalay serves delicious food with fresh ingredients and the service is excellent.

- Holly HitchcockJuly 19, 2016Fermented tea leaf salad, Mandalay chicken salad and spicy basil pork were all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious!
- Joe FerraroAugust 8, 2013Rainbow salad isn't nearly as gay as it sounds (I'm ok to say that hayy). They toss it at the table. Get it. Special noodles are like crack. Wash it down with sangria
- The Bold ItalicMarch 10, 2011Try the Chin Mong Jaw –sour vegetables sautéed with green chiles, prawns, and bamboo shoots. Burmese people come from all over for this one. No one else has that in the city. Read more
- Simon TanSeptember 21, 2022Flat noodles are fantastic, but it's the same chicken as the curry so no real point in getting both
