BommyAugust 9, 2014Authentic Japanese store still family owned and operated. Fun to try a variety: habutai white mochi with red bean, peanut butter mochi, and strawberry mochi.
FYI: the strawberry moshi are seasonal. When they ARE in season, they're usually only available on Fridays and Saturdays. (they're worth the hassle tho)
Love this place! Been coming here since a kid. Sadly the owners' kids not interested in taking over the family business

Anton ShusterApril 16, 2016The peanut butter mochi is best eaten cold. It's kind of sloppy warm. My favorite was the strawberry, which has fresh strawberries!
Make sure you bring cash and don't forget to get the fresh strawberry mochi on the 2nd shelf! Although you really can't go wrong with any of them! Super derishous!
