The food here is delicious, and the service is even better. Had the Filet du Poisson Gulf Pontchatrain. Flaky, buttery, and the crabmeat was flavorful. The bread pudding for dessert was outstanding!

Have the Oysters Rockefeller and make sure you request a tour after your meal. Our waiter Alvin was great and took his time giving us the tour and the history of the building.

Oldest restaurant in the US, 177 years and still the original family. Kinda pricy but the food is great and worth it for the history. Make sure to check out the wine cellar.

Est. 1840. Created Oysters Rockefeller in 1899, which were named after John D. Rockefeller, then the richest man in the world, as the dish was promoted as the richest dish in the world.

Great food. Decent service. Ran out of bread at 8:30pm on a Monday night. You have to get the Baked Alaska. Make sure you let them know how many people are eating it because they adjust the portions.

Outstanding service, decor and great room for private parties. Wedge salad (Roquefort) good but bleu cheese was heavy; grilled corn (mais) WAY too salty. Shrimp remoulade and desserts were great.

Most amazing service I have ever had in a restaurant, water glasses were always full. Food was very good and even though we were a large group they served us quickly and at the same time.

Great soup, duck, and bread pudding in the fall '17 prix fixe lunch. Tour after the meal was nice, awesome to see the still-sealed vintage liquor collection.

Café Brulot Is the epitome of this restuarants old-world, over-the-top grandeur. A server ladels flmaing brandy-spiked coffee down a spiral of orange zest into a silver bowl heated by a ring of fire.

Awesome $20 three course lunch at this historic restaurant. There's nothing else like it in America. It's food and hospitality are remnants of a more elegant era.

Lunch time is perfect. No crowd. Paul is an excellent server. The 'old school' servers give you that 'olden days' vibe. Can't beat the $20 lunch special with .25 martinis!
