The second main airport in Bangkok, nothing too fancy but at least has all the basic shops.Theres no metro connection but you can always take the handy bus and get in Victory Monument, enjoy BKK!

To get here from downtown on the cheap: Take the train to Mo Chit BTS station (cost ~40 Baht depending on where you start). Then take A1 or A2 bus for 30 Baht. Easy peasy.

Small and old. But the domestic hall is very new and modern looking. Better if the international hall can be redesign. Overall is still a good place.

Bangkok old airport. The sad thing about this place is that it’s inaccessible by BTS/MRT. You will have to go through hell bargaining with taxi drivers. Next, locals’ hell : parking lots. Crowded.

Infested with horrible mainland Chinese tourists who talk loud and cut lines. No need to be nice to them. Just scream at them.

An airport that's much more convenient compared to Suvarnabhumi International in terms of crowd management. Taxi fares are not much too. Quite a number of eateries inside the terminal as well.

For muslim traveler, you can use some space near children playground for praying. Take wudhu in the restroom, use the handwash basin but don't wet the floor. Let's keep neat, akhi & ukhti 😊

Sooooooo many Mainland Chinese tourists here, the airport even has dedicated lanes for them to clear immigration (which are much appreciated actually as you are away from their rowdiness 😅)

The 7-11 outside the international departure terminal is awesome for last minute snacks, drinks or even cup noodles. Many come here to smoke too and you will see lot of PRC visitors here.

A mess... If you fly Air Asia and you have a flexi ticket don't need to queue before check-in. Go straight to check-in counter dedicated and ask the assistant to open the way.

Make sure to arrive 2 hours in advance for international flights. It's a smaller airport, but check-in can take up to 30 minutes (Air Asia) and the passport control can take up to 15 minutes.

One of the best reasons to fly LCCs in SEA. Land in DMIA, where's it's less busy than Suvarnabhumi (on a good day). Older, compact layout also means less walking from aerobridge to exit.

Avoid arriving at this airport on peak periods as there'll be tons of people at the immigration, belt, and taxi. Use car service apps like Grab so you don't have to wait in neverending queue.
