Very long queue to get in, be prepared to wait up to 1hr even during the week. Bit worth the wait. Put your name on the waiting list and go grab a drink and snacks at Mejico next door!

Despite lots of people setting low expectations, the food was great and the service was so good we tipped the waiter (uncommon in Sydney). Book a table, and order plates and boards to share.

Great vibe and ambience, great cheese dishes like ricotta-filled ravioli etc. Great pasta, love that you can get a small serve of it too. Wines not very good. Dessert ok.

Burger is sadly not the 2nd best in Sydney, in fact it's quite on the opposite end of the scale. Can't go wrong if you order Italian though (truffled turkey v.good), and the service is brilliant.

Service is great! Very friendly and not obtrusive. Food was even better. You must try the Arancini balls and more importantly, the amazing chocolate brownie!

Good not great. Get there early, make reservations, or be prepared to wait (sometimes over an hour). Services is always outstanding.

Despite the 90min wait (arrived at 6pm), this place was totally worth it! Ricotta, lemon and parmesan ravioli was delicious! Get there early to reserve a table, then go for a drink while you wait :)

If you are going to have a cheat day, have Tagliatelle Bolognese at Jamie Oliver's...but have a salad, too!

There could be a pretty long wait on Friday nights. But the food is pretty good. I had a sausage pappardelle which I'd probably give an 85% only because it was a little more raw than al dente.

Posh chips 👍 the tender strip loin steak is massive. I ordered rare and it came out just over but still tasted lovely. Wait staff are lovely and attentive. Gets noisy!

Mushroom fritti and crispy polenta as sides is a must. Pasta's as expected are very tasty and made to perfection! They are great value and agree to get entree sizes to share.

If you're solo or just two, ask for the antipasto bar upstairs, there will often be a seat long before there's a table open. And the Black Angel Pasta is lovely.

Book in advance if you're a group. More try trendy nowadays but still great. Accept waiters recommendations

The polenta chips are legendary and many of the dishes are classic Italian with an Aussie twist. The only thing to avoid is the tables on the top level near the waiters station as its very noisy

This place is very popular. Be prepared to wait for some time. It is worth the wait though. Atmosphere, food and drinks are very good.

Don't get the Italian burger: tough bread on top of not so juicy meat patty. However the risotto and pastas are very good. Come after lunch time (i.e. 1pm onward) if you don't like waiting.

The service was great, but the noise level was very high all evening. The salmon caprese and the caprese salad starters were enjoyable, but the 49 dollar 350 g bone-in ribeye steak was disappointing.

The service was good. The zucchini fritters were enjoyable and the mint and pea ravioli special was delicious. What did disappoint was how hard the pasta was. Pasta was definitely not al dente at all.

Only go if you're a big fan of Jamie Oliver (I don't know why anyone would be). Otherwise nothing ground breaking here, plenty of other restaurants to go to in that price range. TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE! Read more
