Amazing drinks, amazing decor, great service. My drink came in a ceramic shark mug with a dead "fish" and lots of blood.

The jackfruit buns were to die for. Drinks are good and well-presented. Interior feels cozy, fun and chic - in a tikki kind of way. The staff was really nice, patient and attentive.

Creative cocktails in a tastefully themed tiki bar. Don't let the theatre mask the boozy drinks though, they are real good.

Great airy vibe. I went at night and it glowed and flowed (window treatments & b00ze). I will be most likely to have a happy hour drink by the windows for Avenue A breeze catching when I go back.

Matahari Julep was sooo delicious if you really enjoy drinking rum. The drink has at least 3 different types of rum in it and I love the presentation #soodelicious #litformy32ndBday

I want to love it as much as I did but I'm not vegan and since the change to strict vegan only everything, I can't say I love it as much. Still lively & the food and drinks although vegan are great.

(Thrillist tip) Everything, down to the food, is animal-free (unless you count the bourbon-and-passion-fruit Shark Eye cocktail, served in a ceramic shark's head w/ “blood” streaming from its jaws)

Fun, relaxed, tropical vibes, good for small groups and dates. Cocktail presentation sometimes better than drink itself, but the shark eye and the drink with bell pepper are delicious.

Really unique cocktails. The shark eye has by far one of the best presentations. The Mexican summer is a good sweet cocktail. The Indus Valley is a must have. Top notch environment!

One of my favorite NYC restaurants. It's all vegan and it's incredible.

Their whiskey based drinks are great & so are desserts. Hearty food, hearty drinks. Music is loud & people are "trendy", not pretentious though. We got a spot on a friday night, but it was quite full.

Gin Palace turned into an airy, outdoor space with an island vibe and tiki drinks in fun vessels like a shark head.

Good summer drinks spot - outdoors but still covered. Only issue is that the bar area is a little small, and the only other place for drinks is the circular table in the middle of the restaurant

A fantastic go-to spot when PDT is full and you're tired of a too crowded bar scene. The drinks are excellent and the vibe will transport you to Miami in no time.

Cute trendy place with fun cocktails. We had the shark eye and the Matahari Julep. The shark eye tasted like fruit punch. The Julep tasted better.

Vegan menu has some decent healthy brunch (kale Caesar, fruit poke) options, but food is not on par with the drinks. (Skip the hash browns)

Good food service could be warmer food is vegetarian and they have vegan things too. Place is unique and a little overpriced. But great quality.

It is a tiki bar, so you should order a drink that comes in an outrageous tiki mug. That drink is the Shark Eye.

Don't fall for the tiki vibe allure. It took 45 minutes to order and get our drinks. Depending on what you get, the drinks are mostly ice. Yes, they are in fun glasses, but it's totally overpriced.

Stick with the individual cocktails. The group drinks are a rip off. You will end up with a cocktail flavored 60 dollar bucket of ice. Tasty nonetheless.

This is where I go while I wait in the queue for Death & Co. Drinks here are fine but there are many better options in the area.
