Endless beaches with lots of wind during spring time. The town feels like an Australien version of Khao San Road. It can get tricky to find a place to eat.
New Age Australia is here. Parking is free at night and you can also have free barbecue in front of the ocean on the main beach. Backpacking here is a must!
If you head out at night and love dancing on tables & general looseness, go to cheeky monkeys. If you want a dance minus the intense atmosphere head to Cocomangas and grab a jam jar (cocktail)
Extremly popular with Boomers, hipsters, influencers and back packers. Very expensive compares to travel guides. $12 scooner of beer. $400+ per night for accomodation.
I'm not sure there are any Byron secrets anymore. But it's gorgeous nonetheless. Fave for me us Wategos Beach for sun, surf a quiet drink and a good book.
