Rue. S. • March 22, 2019西門で展示室に入室したい旨を伝えて入館証を受領し、警備員同行でないと辿り着けない博物館。さほど大きくはないが展示内容は濃密で、入場無料とは思えない。明治期の内装が推定復原された展示室 (創建当時は大臣官舎大食堂だったと伝わる) やメッセージギャラリーに示された赤れんが棟の歴史は建物好きには堪らない。庁舎内は勿論、展示室内も写真撮影禁止なこと、そして平日限定の営業が極めて残念。
