Dannis L. • June 1, 2012Owner trained as a pastry chef so desserts are excellent! My favorites are the prune and condensed milk cake and the chocolate flan.
Dan L. • October 22, 2014Honestly everything is great in this place. Definitely try the Chicha as a light dessert. The Mami arepas is my favorite.
Peter G. • October 26, 2013Delicious chicken, plain and simple. Also: crispy, enormous tostones are a great accompaniment.
David S. • September 26, 2017Get the country platter and a pitcher of sangria. Beef tongue was also excellent.
Visit L. • August 15, 2013We come here almost weekly and every time we have a great time, the staff is friendly and knows us when we come in. One suggestion have more black beans.

Rock Raines • July 20, 2015Not the best pan de bono or bunelitos I've ever had but this place has got some authentic charm for sure.
Kimmie O. • September 29, 2019This is my favorite Peruvian rotisserie chicken in Astoria! The chicken is moist & flavorful. The green sauce is so yummy! Unlike other spots, their fried rice is vegetarian - scallions & eggs :)
Laura S. • June 12, 2012Get the rice & beans- and the flank steak is my favorite cut of beef there by far
Kimmie O. • July 10, 2019Get their La Vecina Arepa - ropa vieja, spinach, plantains & pico de gallo. Arepas are stuffed! Get their sangria slushie with condensed milk to that. Add a mango La Michoacana popsicle to your slush.
Thomas M. • October 16, 2016Bangingggggg steak, sausage and beef hip wrapped in bacon. Rice and beans delicious too.
