DoubleDeuce • June 14, 2015I mean, it's probably the best boat that you can sit in and have a drink on the Hudson while tethered to a pier. Aside from this place, always practice safe boating.

Compass • April 24, 2014A nearby public boat dock and seasonal outposts of popular eateries like Brooklyn Bridge Wine Bar and Blue Marble Ice Cream are among the reasons young families love making a day of this scenic pier.
Compass • April 21, 2014Fish from the pier, take a themed cruise, or get a walking tour of the West Village at Pier 40. With over 14 acres, the park makes room for dogs, children, and local sports teams of all ages.

Elizabeth R. • June 27, 2012I liked this pier better in 2002 when it was sorta run down and played Bob Marley's music from a small shack where you could by hamburgers and hot dogs. Very trendy now & overcrowded!
J Crowley • May 26, 2014Bring a blanket, pack and lunch and lay on the beach for the day. Amazing little spot.
