John C. • November 19, 2013I *love* Whole Foods, but don't forget about the family-run Golden Produce right around the corner. They have an equally great selection of local and organic goods.
Paul T. • November 17, 2009Best inexpensive sandwiches in the Castro - guilty pleasure for me is their Ham and Egg..... Plus, often they have amazingly cheap flowers too!
Chris G. • March 24, 2011Loves it. Great selection of REALLY good food, right here in the gayborhood!
Natalie M. • April 28, 2015Such a great farmer's market. So many great stands to choose from. My favorite is the fish guy. They will shuck oysters right there at the stand for you to enjoy.
Dale T. • November 2, 2011Two stores in the same block. One is an semi-open fruit market with indulgences like fruit flavor licorice and italian cookies. The other has tons of packaged and international foods. Lovely!
Laura C. • November 17, 2011The place to go for local, organic, and sustainable snacks and groceries. Produce here is always fresh and there are lots of samples offered. They cater and have a seasonal deli with a changing menu.
Josh P. • November 15, 2014One of the only places I've found growlers of Magnolia beers in the city!
Sarah M. • March 31, 2016It's not all organic its deceiving its mostly conventional their is a selection of organic products but the rest is conventional
Adelia R. • June 4, 2014The best Asian supermarket so far in SF with a wide variety of vegetables/groceries/products common in South East Asian dishes. Prices are reasonable for those and the fresh produce too.
Emily F. • June 21, 2016Fantastic corner store with a great salad bar!
Shagun A. • November 5, 2014It's your friendly neighborhood market. Joe, the owner, is a very sweet guy. I usually come here for the quick things I need like milk, bread, juice
Eszter T. • February 1, 2012Best local supermarket ever. Carries a wide variety of healthy and unhealthy foods. Good wine. Super friendly owners. You feel like part of a family shopping here.
Sarah S. • March 6, 2010Best cheap produce in the Mission. Bananas are always delicious and usually $.59/lb
Abby • March 22, 2013My favorite fruit market on 16th. Sometimes they have 5lbs of arrugla for .99! Often times things are 3 to 4 pounds for 99 cents. O get huge bags of groceries for 4 dollars!
James J. • August 21, 2010This little shop has a little of everything including decent beer selection. A lifesaver any time of the day and cheaper than birite (tho you can't beat the birite deli!)
