Nadia 🥑 T. • May 22, 2017Love the flower garden, the deer enclosure, and the park enclosure that's by Macartney's house, and the hilly areas at the top where you can read a book or have a picnic with a view when not too crowded
Jason • July 28, 2015This is a gem in East London. Has a nice cafe in the middle and the park for kids is well maintained. Some excellent flowers and features with a great view of the Thames Barrier.
UniofGreenwich • July 31, 2012This is glorious park and extra green after all that rain. The cakes and coffee is wonderful in the cafe as well! *AC
Kanga_Rue • May 9, 2012Great playground, dog free (the rest of the park is dog friendly), and fenced to keep the kids in!
Alex B. • October 31, 2020My dad and other people from 'Men in Sheds' built a new wooden bridge for Well Hall Plesaunce. A very pleasant spot with an interesting history. E. Nesbitt's home is no longer there.
Jonnie S. • May 3, 2012A great place to train your dog for recall! Small park with 2 tennis courts (train in one of these)
Benjamin S. • December 2, 2019I always pass this on the bus. There have been some improvements made to the park. A great place to take a stroll.
Johannes D. • August 30, 2015Great park. Clean, expansive and with lots of hidden treats, like a pond, tree-lined avenues and play areas. Great for a run too (3km perimeter)
Rebekah R. • May 26, 2012Great local park but the grass is rough an sparsely grown so if you want to lie on the grass and read/tan then bring a blanket to be more comfortable.
Julia K. • July 19, 2015Lovely park for kids & handy pit stop for runners training needing facilities 😝 open till late (9ish) in summer.
Toby S. • July 28, 2011It's great for sunny luncheons and relaxing. The park even has parrots.. Don't believe?! Check it out yourself ;-)))
Sacha • September 15, 2019Great local spot. Popular with runners and dog walkers. Also has a playground and paddling pool for kids filled over the summer holidays.
