San Francisco Zoo • August 25, 2011The inside (behind the scenes) of the Lion House is open daily 1pm-4pm. Lion, Tiger, Snow Leopard, and Fishing Cat exhibits can be found along the exterior of the building.
San Francisco Zoo • August 28, 2011The two California Sea Lions, "Silent Knight" and "Henry", were rescued by the Marine Mammal Center, but were unable to be released back into the wild. We're excited to be their new home!
Scott H. • June 14, 2018They recently (2017) put up a new enclosure and it has greatly reduced the terrible smells that are hidden back there.
Andre B. • July 12, 2018My kids climbed on the sculptures for a good 20 minutes before we noticed the signs indicating that they should not. We are terribly sorry, but you may want better signage.
