Karen • January 24, 2017Lavish breakfast spread, charming innkeeper, convenient to my office in the Mission. Quiet rooms - this is working out great for me.
SFist • June 24, 2015At this unassuming little Castro bar that looks like a mini ski lodge and was once known as The Men's Room (and before that, The Mistake) you'll find one of the best curated jukeboxes in the city.
Waverly H. • September 30, 2011My favorite place to stay in SF. Jan is the best and I will be the first to tell you, you will miss out if you do not stay here. Stay for breakfast and you will never want to leave. A true Gem.
Alejandro V. • February 5, 2011This place isn't actually that bad.sure there are some pervy lurkers but it's actually a nice place to stay at. Me and my boyfriend had a great time here, it was really convenient and nice. :)
Jim R. • October 28, 2016It's a great place to stay. Micheal is a great innkeeper and very knowledgeable about the area. It is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast opportunity is one you do not want to miss.
Matt R. • January 24, 2015One of the best deals you will find but no frills and gets booked quick. Cozy, clean, centrally located. Worked for me, will be back.
SF Weekly • May 31, 2012SF Weekly’s Best Of 2012 Winner – Editorial Pick- Best Parklet with Video Games. You can keep your upright bicycle parking, uptight faux-European cafe-style outdoor seating, and whatever else is...
x x. • August 29, 2010Had a great stay here. Guests are typically responsible young foreign travelers. There are parties on weekends at Medjool on the first floor & the Sky Terrace on the roof.
Alberto C. • July 23, 2010Wonderful rental house. Very elegant. Cheaper than hotels if 3 couples rent and share expenses. Love the venue. The area and the view. Cupola wonderful to enjoy a cup of coffee.
Kyle G. • June 19, 2016A cheap place to stay in San Francisco. Good value, and close to a grocery store, Walgreens, and some cafes.
Darren F. • October 7, 2013Do NOT stay at this place. I think there's a dead guy in one of the rooms. It sure smells that way.
Jag F. • September 11, 2011Nice individually designed rooms, with fridge and microwave included. Very homey for long time travelers.
JoHanna H. • August 11, 2013Clean. Small rooms. Shared bathroom with the floor. Really inexpensive compared to other sf hotels.

Rafa G. • February 10, 2019Best hosts in SF. Get yo pic on the wall. Give Roo a scratch behind the ear.
Kris D. • October 15, 2014In the kitchen you can cook but you have to bring everything yourself, except for the stove. Right across the street in the Chinese shop (AC Trading) you can buy a fork, spoon etc at 0.75$ /pc. ;-)
