Deb M. • August 9, 2014Fantastic collection of houses and other buildings from all over Norway through the ages. Well presented keep all interested. Go by boat with a 5 min walk for a complete experience.
Никола Н. • December 9, 2013One of the greatest museums I've ever visited. Very interesting exhibitions. The interactivities in the basement are fantastic for the kids as well as cor their parents.
Marius W. • May 20, 2014Grim, dark and unique: The mausoleum of the less famous Vigeland is fairly obscure even to Oslo people. Features a grand 4-wall fresco, amazing acoustics and the artist's own remains.
Jesse L. • July 14, 2015Best museum I've visited for a while! Lots of interesting stuff to see and experiment in a compact space. I love it how the whole exhibition was built around the ship.
Noah W. • July 30, 2015One of my favorite modern art museums in the world, in a beautifully designed building by Renzo Piano along the water. Great permanent collection with famous Koons, Murakami, and and Hirst works.
Elevine B. • January 10, 2015Favourite museum in Oslo; both the amazing Gustav Vigeland part, the building's architecture AND the temporary exhibitions. Also, don't miss the sculpture biennale recently hosted by the museum!
Jason M. • April 16, 2017Super cool to see the original Kon-Tiki raft. Much larger than I expected! A great museum dedicated to the amazing expeditions of Thor Heyerdahl.
Kathryn P. • July 26, 2016Very cool. Take a couple of hours and visit the whole museum. So much to learn/see/do
Vincent M. • August 27, 2018That was so good! 3 Vikings’ boats and other pieces of vikings history. A great time. Pretty cheap entrance ticket as well. I definitely recommend it.
Monica D. • July 30, 2015Interesting and comprehensive, worth a visit if you're even a light history buff.
Patrick S. • September 3, 2018A historic site with an old castle. Nice view of Frognerkilen. There is a café open during summer season. Worth a visit!
Merete S. • February 24, 2013The greatest green oasis in Oslo! Here you'll find different gardens like Rock garden, Herb garden etc.
Alex S. • September 20, 2017Beautiful, smallish museum you can visit for an hour or two. Excellent blurbs on the wall guide you through Norwegian art history without pretense. The Munch Room is the highlight.
Berg M. • April 3, 2016Nice cafe with atmosphere and smorgasbord. Maybe the nicest Castel in Oslo with a park restored back to original glory.
Andreas G. • August 19, 2014Extensive museum, very very nice, sweet and enthusiastic welcome by Siri at the welcome desk (not iPhone Siri). She's a star!
Vilde • November 28, 2016Perfect for families with a lot of activities for children. It is also possible to buy a ticket for the maritime museum, Kon-Tiki and Fram museum all together for a reduced price.
Thomas Røst S. • August 19, 2013Brilliant with kids! A classic museum with an incredible skill balance between the exhibitions of yesteryear and the rewrapping the contents of the collections in new and interesting ways.
Nor O. • August 10, 2014Do come if you love museum walks. It's in a walking distance to the national museum of modern art. Save time!
Felix Y. • August 29, 2017Included in the Oslo city pass, it also have collection about greenhouse and other modern marvels. Not a touristy place, so you can enjoy the museum in peace.
