Karl H. • August 11, 2014A real hostel with a sense of community that makes it easy and fun to meet people and discover the city! They have a lot of rules about this and that, but it adds to the "flavor".
Utku B. • December 21, 2011Perfect location, five min. walk to Union Square and BART station. Bathrooms are always clean, kitchen is well equiped. One of the best hostel that i have ever stayed in, Europe and USA.
Alex J. • September 12, 2016Great hostel, friendly staff, conveniently located. Free breakfast is mostly a range of bagels, bread, and spreads, but still highly welcome when you're in one of the world's most expensive cities.
Bill G. • April 16, 2012If this isn't my favorite hostel, it's in the top two. Great people, great activities. The views are awesome. Close to buses and cable cars. Best coffee of any hostel... and FREE PARKING!!!
Alper Ç. • October 31, 2011The best hostel I've been to in San Francisco. Great staff and activities and friendly travelers.
Loni F. • May 31, 2016Fully equipped gym near the pool. Cardio equipment looks out to patio. Exercise balls, yoga mats and free weights makes it easy to get a quick workout in.
Elly H. • September 22, 2010Perfect area for great food and drinks...adjacent to little Italy and close to Washington Square and public transportation
Ian R. • October 8, 2016Avoid. When the Adelaide hostel takes more reservations than it has rooms, this is the dump they put the overflow in. Sweltering rooms, crappy beds, gross bathrooms, and a dilapidated vibe. Hated it.
Pepe A. • May 9, 2011Very nice hostel, go down staira to The living room And met with other hostal guest
Rita S. • October 8, 2010Perfect choice for those who want to be downtown for cheap! Hotels in SF are overrated - it's not worth paying for a nicer hotel because the room will be small w/ no amenities. You'll be out all day!
Jasper • July 16, 2011It's a very sketchy walk through a bad part of town to get here. However it is a fairly cheap place to stay downtown. Suggest you get a room with a private bathroom.
Rafa G. • February 10, 2019Best hosts in SF. Get yo pic on the wall. Give Roo a scratch behind the ear.
Jimmy A. • October 8, 2011Bob is a man of few words. The water isn't working and the area around the building resembles a slum to some degree. Thankfully I am only here visiting.
Duygu K. • May 12, 2015a centered hotel with clean and safe rooms, a warm welcome, available wifi and low prices. Except with a low speed internet from our room, everything was nice.
Karen G. • March 23, 2012Best hostel in SF. Right downtown near powell station and the secret underground party bunker with free beer is a nice bonus
Gabriele 肉. • August 28, 2014Shared bathrooms! If you are comfortable with that it's a great place, the rooms are OK (no AC/heating control panel and I was hot, but way better than most hostels), cheap and very good placement.
Gustavo V. • September 3, 2013Cheap, don't walk up to 6th st at night, dangerous strange people is there, nice room, very big with fridge and tv
Rinkesh P. • October 15, 2011It's cheap, clean n really people friendly... Who come from all over the world!
Lorenzo S. • March 24, 2013seems clean but in the name change "hotel" with "hostel". floor shared restrooms.
OAK&ROMA .. • January 20, 2012Enjoying your visit in the Marin Headlands? Then spent the night at the Marin Headlands Hostel on Rosenstock Rd! Dorms, private rooms... It's a great place to stay, & cheap too!
Gregory Trevor R. • July 19, 2015Grab a sandwich from Greens in Lower Fort Mason or Cafe Franco in the HI hostel and enjoy the beautiful setting.
Russell B. • March 6, 2009Go have a picnic behind the Hostel at Fort Mason. There's a quiet green space behind the building above the tourists with views of the bay, an old canon and picnic tables.
Carlos S. • June 15, 2016Cafe with a view. A chill place connected to the hostel, plus coffee was pretty cheap!
