Gothamist • February 22, 2017They serve traditional fare like kaldereta (goat stew) and humba (pork braised in pineapple and soy sauce), but there are also some new creations like adobo chicken wings and sisig tacos
Amanda W. • April 25, 2015The halo halo is like nothing I've ever had. Icy cold and the textures are a must have

Jameson F. • February 9, 2020Always get queso on your tacos. Flour tortillas (made in-house) are stretchy and good.
Alfie • November 22, 2011Best Filipino food in NYC. Best in Manhattan would be Maharlika, but it's worth the trek to Brooklyn to visit the "Yam"!
Alex • March 16, 2018the sisig, duh. pork and tuna varieties are so good. mama fina’s iced tea is also refreshing and helps cut the heaviness of the food! order first, sit and eat, then pay.
John M. • October 25, 2011Best Filipino restaurant in NYC, hands down. Go here if you have a big group and want the best as close to home cooked meals.
Rich L. • January 31, 2014The staff is really polite. Always greetings you with a hello and kind service. Can't beat the combo meal 2 main sides with rice or pancit. Really good BBQ sticks and turon.
Djaniella D. • August 14, 2015A little taste of Philippines here in NJ! Favorite breads: ensaimada, taisan, mamon. Desserts: halo-halo, mango cake, & chocolate moose cake! Honestly, I'm a fan of the whole store so can't go wrong!
Giana M. • May 24, 2014depends on what type of Filipino food you like and have acquired. to me, all their food is very salty so chose wisely !

Jeffrey G. • July 12, 2023Everything on the menu is delicious, the Thai fried rice, the Korean wings, the Brussel sprouts. The aperol spritz cocktail is sizable and yummy
Gab2y • September 23, 2018I recommend the palabok fietsa (very unique and garlicky), the spaghetti (sweet for sure but addictive) and the aloha yum burger (tangy!). Also desserts are amazing! Try the halo-halo and mango pie.
Ronald F. • June 6, 2012Lunch Specials for only $5.95 and the best Filipino shakes :D ( Avocado is my favorite!)

albert e. • September 6, 2019The pork sisig is classic and has that satisfying sizzle and crunch to it. The milk fish (bangus) is tasty. Definitely try it if you like fish. The pusit (squid) is something to try too.
Mabes R. • July 25, 2015Looking forward to Thursdays for their karioka. One of the few good Filipino food spots in JC.
