Seppo K. • January 29, 2012Not only great for kids, but for grown-ups, too! The exhibitions are beautifully crafted to the smallest detail and reside in the old, strikingly beautiful, 1910 built building by E. Saarinen et al.
Ari M. • March 29, 2012It is great to look around in this magnificent building: enjoy beautiful staircases, rooms and in particular huge fireplaces.
Wouter B. • December 26, 201918 months old, beautiful building and modern tasteful interior. Toilets have light to guide you in the night. Also a fully controllable shower for your tush. Connect through Bluetooth for music.
Alexander D. • August 20, 2016Wonderful hotel and lots of history to the building, breakfast is amazing here.
Ami H. • November 26, 2014Helsinki’s biggest bookstore is another building designed by Alvar Aalto and naturally has a large selection of books about him - as well as any other imaginable subject.
Rion B. • June 15, 2015If they place you in the other building your are screwed! No Wifi and old rooms.
Kalle E. • January 11, 2019Good food, beautiful building.
Pekka P. • January 7, 2010Amazing photographs from early 20th century Helsinki by Ms. Signe Brander. Spot my home building!
FR BBS • December 26, 2010Nice building with expensive but rather averige services. The train schedules are erratic and unreliable. Not a recommended method of transportation.
katja m. • November 19, 2015Little cozy cafe, interesting building. Great to get warm coffee when walking by the seaside!
Swiss In Hong Kong . • October 12, 2017New and modern hotel, maybe the highest building in Helsinki. Good service, but the parking area is a pain. Nice pool and bar area in the 16th floor.
Taivaanranta T. • June 8, 2014New restaurants located at the bottom floor of WTC building! Check out "Taivaanranta" for food / lunch / dinner & "Teerenpeli" for coffee / drinks / beer !
Hannele A. • August 6, 2015A bit on the expensive side. The view from the terrace could be more relaxing than just traffic, cars and grey buildings.. Good chai latte though!
Dave M. • April 10, 2018London inspired pub near the parliament building. Excellent range of beers including a couple of British hand pumps. Relaxed vibe & the pizzas are top class. I recommend the Renna (smoked reindeer).
Sahba S. • September 25, 2018A real hidden gem. A small place in a non-descript building. The owner/waiter was incredibly accommodating and the quality if the pizaa was first class. Highly recommended!
Lili K. • September 27, 2014Gorgeous unobstructed views of Helsinki from one of the tallest buildings. Try a Koff Porter if you are a beer drinker and take in the sights. Make sure to check out the restroom if you are a lady!
Fred S. • January 12, 2020Excellent section on the pre-history of Finland with great English descriptions of stone, bronze and Iron Age artefacts. Good section on the third floor for the kids including building a wood hut.
Helga S. • June 15, 2013No wifi in rooms only in the lobby of the main building.if you located in another building you need to walk there.you can rent a lan cable for 3€. Take cuttlery etc from the main kitchen to your room
WDC Helsinki 2012 • March 8, 2012There are 38 KONE elevators, 56 escalators and 28 automatic doors in the building.
Dan M. • January 31, 2016Loved the place! Cosy historic building, packed with people on a Saturday night. Boeuf a la tartar fingerlickingly good, fins&flatbread platter too. But best of all was the service. Will come back.
