Andrew C. • December 29, 2011A big piece of California history are the Missions. Cough up the entry fee and give yourself an hour of learning! Don't forget to check out the cemetery - I lived on the other side of the fence ;)
Contemporary Jewish Museum • January 30, 2012This picturesque park used to be a Jewish cemetery, owned by Congregation Sherith Israel and Congregation Emanu-El. It became inactive in 1894 when it was moved to San Mateo County.
Emilia F. • February 12, 2014There is some really good historical information about the cemetery and a list of notable people interred here at http://www.cem.va.gov/cems/nchp/sanfrancisco.asp
The Bold Italic • June 1, 2011This cemetery dates back to the 1950s, and originally thought to house cavalry horses. The cemetery lot is technically full, although rumor is that people sneak in at night to bury their beloved pets.

Missy C. • January 31, 2011There is a person sized hole in the chainlink at the front entrance- in case anyone wants to make an after-hours visit. Be respectful. I go to visit family but sometimes at 2am... ;)
M K. • December 23, 2011There is an amazing hiking path that overlooks Sonoma if you walk up to the top of the cemetery.
Connie A. • April 7, 2012The photos above were not taken at the St. Helena Cemetery. They are photos taken at Holy Cross Cemetery which is East of the St. Helena Cemetery.
Jon C. • May 31, 2018Wonderful diversity of head stones & a myriad of flowers. Narrow main drive not wide enough for two cars to pass with canopy of heritage trees overhead.
Amy M. • October 3, 2010The smallest amount of parking of all the Chinese cemeteries here. Carpool is highly recommended.
