Eric R. • October 16, 2011Stumbling into the Cemetery upon the insistence of my dog, I was surprised to learn that this burial ground is a surprising vault of history and an official NYC landmark. Find out why.
Mark • September 3, 2011Actually a really peaceful place. No cars, no people. Just graves as far as the eye can see. You can't get that anywhere else in NYC. Great for a phone call, you have quiet and privacy.
Ronny O. • September 26, 2016The cemetery ground is very clean and well maintained. The only thing is that they need to build a bigger space from the crematorium.
Asim N. • December 24, 2011Since the cemetary is raised across Queens Blvd...six feet under is...Queens Blvd. Respect the dead- they're probably right next to ya!
Michael S. • August 5, 2013The Cemetery closes at 5:PM, the crips close at 4:PM. Only had a few minutes to visit after a ride in from the Island.
Lizzette F. • September 21, 2013Looks like an old ancient burial with waterfront view ---- very nice and calming especially with all the trees
Manuel B. • January 25, 2011Ask for a map of famous grave sites! You'd be amazed at who is buried here.
Anna C. • February 21, 2013This cemetery has had many problems. The staff places stickers to hid the row number and burial number because gravestone on wrong burial plot.Read blog on cemetery corruption.
Brian M. • January 9, 2019Excellent, 5 star experience! Quentin aka Q came to my house on Staten Island on 12-14-18 at 1am to pick up my dog, Bandit, who had passed away. Quentin was so kind and caring, thank you again!
