Oakland Cemetery • January 7, 2011Built by prominent early Atlanta developer Joel Hurt (Oakland resident) and opened in 1926. Hurt also developed Inman Park, Atlanta's first planned neighborhood, and the original streetcar system.

Oakland Cemetery • July 16, 2011On this spot stood the beautiful Atlanta Terminal Station which opened in 1905 & was demolished in 1972. The Amtrak station on Peachtree was built in 1971 & became our primary passenger train station.
