New York Habitat • August 24, 2012This is a huge park and a great place for bike riding, BBQs and picnicking. They have softball fields and tennis courts for sports lovers and people who want to stay in shape!
Danny D. • August 5, 2014Nice run in the morning or afternoon before 4 after that track and field are crowded
L. T. • June 9, 2015A beautiful, wide-open field with fabulous views. Go for a picnic and bring your blanket and camera!
Paul K. • July 7, 2018My favorite softball fields in NYC. The dirt infields and grass outfields are well-manicured, and there’s lots of seating for players and passers-by who want to catch a game.
Rita L. • September 20, 2021Buy some food at mitsuwa and eat at the pavilion! It’s a nice spot with cool breeze from the river and clean bathrooms right by! Perfect on a sunny day :) enjoy!
HISTORY • April 24, 2012Built for the National Guard in 1909, the Armory was used as a homeless shelter before opening in the 1990s as an indoor track and field center.
Patti L. • August 11, 2013Enter the park from the west side at 100th St. Follow the path to the north meadow baseball fields.
