Ricardo R. • April 24, 2021Great authentic Indian food. Great service! Everything in the menu is good.
Deborah C. • September 21, 2019Had dosas (amazing), chaat (delicious), idli (my favorite), and spicy butter milk lassi (non my jam, but probably delicious for those who like it).
Julia H. • April 4, 2010Skip the buffet and have a sit down meal. Waiters are fast and friendly. Chicken Tikka Masala is a must with a side of chutney and yogurt sauce. Smile and you'll get a complimentary lentil soup too!
Theveggiebears • March 31, 2011Best Indian Sweets in NY area - nothing competes with the Maharaja Kalakhand, also a great selection of indian dishes - totally vegetarian
Alex S. • October 18, 2021My favourite is Bihari Kabab with naan, or parata, whereas Chicken Jalfrezi is my son’s favourite
Purujit • June 16, 2012One of the cleaner and friendlier Bangladeshi joints in the area. Check out the biriyanis here to discover a nice twist on the South Indian dish.
Dave S. • June 21, 2021"Merit's Biryani, in all of its varieties (Vegetable, Goat, Roast Pulao), are the real crowd-pleasers here, and the plump and steaming Vegetable Samosas always do the trick." -Gothamist
Sanjida L. • July 11, 2012Definitely try the shikh kabob (the long kabob), it's very good. Seating upstairs is nice, except for the faint rumbling vibrations that's generated from the nearest subway train passing.
Rebecca • March 24, 2012Naan is super fluffy and oozing with butter, perfect for the chicken makhni. Five entrees and lots of naan=big dinner for seven people
Franklin Y. • September 26, 2013Really good indian food but check your balance after you pay. They charge the food inconsistently.
funky f. • January 22, 2017The garlic chicken is a very delishiois dish and the garlic naan is a perfect side. However i woulf avoid tbe place, as the prices are badly planed and you would pay double to eat in.
GourmetLive • April 1, 2011Less chatting and more Chaat-ing according to Chef Michael Ginor,“My personal favorites are chaat papri and chaat samosa - chickpeas mixed with fresh onions, tamarind, mint, and sugared yogurt.”
