Xinnie • August 18, 2017Easily the best sushi place in Chicago. Flavor combination is unique yet pleasant. I love sitting by the kitchen bar so I get to watch food getting prepared. Reservation system is not the best though.
Erika D. • February 29, 2016They always have good promotion going on. I usually get Kirin ichiban beer (cheap), white rice, and my favorites are beef tongue and Japanese pork sausages.
Dana T. • December 4, 2014The Tokontsu Pork Ramen was out of this world! Perfectly fresh & firm noodles swimming in a rich creamy flavorful broth packed w/ umami essence...BEST I ever haaaaad! Huge portions (as expected) BYOB!
Matthew K. • July 16, 2011Outdoor seating and BYOB. Outstanding sushi and a very friendly wait staff.
PureWow • April 11, 2017This four-time Bib Gourmand winner had us at sea bream with smoked tomato and black sea salt. But then we discovered the sake flights at downstairs speakeasy Booze Box and knew it was true love.
Valerie P. • September 14, 2018Luis makes the best sushi rolls here! I will only come when he’s here!
Giulia M. • September 22, 2021Considering the price you pay for Omakase, it was mediocre at best. Fish was cut way too thick and just brushed with soy sauce, that’s it. No other courses as promised on menu. Won’t be back.
Manoj A. • May 28, 2022Great fusion menu, papaya salad, calamari, ribeye, veggie curry and udon noodles all were very well done
Chase T. • February 16, 2017The best ramen I've had in Chicago. Go solo to avoid the wait. Half spice is great, if you're sensitive to spice get no spice and ask for the spice on the side.
Kelli C. • May 10, 2016All-you-can-eat 👌 .. Sushi is fresh and delicious. But the service could be better .. They're just a little slow.
