Heidi S. • January 30, 2010If the lights start flashing, you can make it to the station b4 the barricades close from about 75 yards. You can do it!
Raed M. • October 13, 2014My most favorite stop-well lit and it feels safer than most, probably because it's in Ravenswood Manor. Enter either on Sacramento or Francisco, but Ventra vending/cash machine only at Francisco side.
Matt S. • July 28, 2013People walk as fast as they can to get through the turnstiles and then crawl up the stairs and make you miss your train.
Jake S. • July 15, 2013If you enjoy outdoor dining in the summer, this is a great spot for you. Hit up one of the many restaurants in the immediate area.
Tea R. • October 12, 2022The gateway into Lincoln Square- surrounded by great restaurants, gift and boutique shops. In the summer & fall there’s a Tues morn & Thurs eve Farmer’s market with a dozen + food vendors & artisans

Zach L. • February 21, 2013The remodel is great, but the new heat lamps are so low they burn your scalp! #humanfrenchfry
Casey J. • August 17, 2018I use this station often, and have never had any problems. Walk to the south end of the station to enter/exit near Target on Sunnyside. This side is well lit and generally better.
Alex S. • August 26, 2011The village discount outlet is right next to here to the right! Lots of great stuff and sometimes good variety of vintage designers. Good price range
Jon M. • April 2, 2014Nearby places ... Thai restaurant and a bar next door. Dunkin donuts, Klein park, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a Mexican restaurant. There's also a western union next to it.
Roadretro • June 17, 2011If you need to walk to Andersonville (west), catch a car at the back of the train. Bryn Mawr is super busy and the light at the corner is easier to manouver if you do this.
Brandi W. • May 12, 2013Don't listen to these newbies to the area warning you about mugging and shit like that. I've live in the area all my life and have felt safe from sunrise, sunset, and dusk. These guys are paranoid!
Renee • July 18, 2013Get a round trip ticket it's cheaper, clean train and the AC works well plan on a 45 min ride from O'Hare to downtown. Get off at Washington. Station for Millinium Park
Benny H. • May 1, 2010Mind the gap! I've only used this station a couple times and it has to have the biggest gap from car to station I've seen. Looked like 6 or 8 inches!
Andrew W. • August 16, 2014Clean and safe. Only problem is congested stairs and path to the platform
L K. • August 20, 2014If you're tired, there's an escalator! It's a bit hidden, opposite the mural.
Jake S. • June 12, 2013If you've just arrived and are looking to eat (or drink), you're in luck; there are many good restaurants just above you. Head to Longman & Eagle if you're in the mood for brunch.
StreetWise_CHI • August 22, 2012StreetWise vendors are eager to make your commute more enjoyable! Help them out :)
