Lady Steinberg • September 12, 2014Beautiful beach, fun boardwalk with food, shops and vendors. Fishing on the pier. Showers at the beach.
Rob B. • August 11, 2011The most private and family friendly stretch of the Santa Monica - Venice Beach area. Great place to relax with friends, family or chill by yourself. Very relaxing.
Andy R. • March 17, 2015Huge beach, beautiful people, do whatever you like ... laze on the sand, work out, skate, bike, walk, play beach sports, eat, go the the pier for entertainment all day and evening, just enjoy.
Larry L. • August 18, 2013Once you find parking, the walk is very nice and depending on what time of the day, great for people watching.
Henry T. • August 28, 2011The snack bar by the volleyball courts has the best chili cheese fries ever! But maybe it's just cause we starve ourselves before the beach so the fries are that much tastier?

Klara L. • April 26, 2011Go here if you wanna play old school bvb with the 2kg white Wilson, a court as big as a soccer field and ancient rules. Nostalgy pure!
Papereater E. • September 16, 2013Lovely place to sit & read, talk with a friend, sunbathe or take a jog!!
Ebony C. • May 2, 2015Food awesome..try funnel cakes and the artists quite talented... definitely worth the visit
Leah W. • August 6, 2013While I haven't tried it myself, apparently the bench just north of the pole is a great spot to make out...as I see couples doing so nearly every time I'm there.
Mike D. • October 1, 2011Make sure you read all parking signs and rules... city of Santa Monica is notorious for strict enforcement even if signs are unclear. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FREE PARKING AT THE BEACH!
Nate T. • July 25, 2017Nice indoor basketball courts, and they run pick up on Wednesday and Friday nights every week around 6pm. The 12-3pm crowd on Wednesdays during the summer can be a bit exclusive, though.
Steve M. • August 9, 2014Plenty of parking, food, chairs for rent. Also if you forget an umbrella, boogie board, sand bucket and shovels or some fresh cut up mango or melon, there are people selling it up and down the beach.
Nicole 🏄🏽♀️ ☀. • July 11, 2013Yes, you can surf and boogie board here, there are waves. You can't see the waves from the parking lot because the beach slopes down into the water.
