LAist • April 15, 2012Hills on both sides of the park provide great views, of downtown LA, Catalina Island, San Gabriel Mountains, Hollywood Hills, and on clear days, San Jacinto and San Gorgonio, some hundred miles east.
HC J. • August 20, 2011So many trails to explore here, and lots of nice views of the city from up in the hills of the park.
Taj C. • June 25, 2013This is a great park for the kids to play in. There is a nice playground with lots of shade and playground equipment for toddlers and bigger kids. There are also paths that are good for scooters.
Steph M. • September 11, 2010There's a smaller park on the side where the Tennis Courts are, adjacent to the pool. Great for picnicing, and walking your dog.
Sarah L. • January 28, 2014Beautiful trail, great for runners and joggers and there is a nice little park.
Jonathan K. • February 9, 2015The ideal park: quiet, yet right in the middle of downtown, ample seating, clean, amazing views of great buildings like City Hall and a nice coffee shop. Every neighborhood needs one a Grand Park.
Alex V. • June 21, 2011Great dog park, the crowd really comes after 5 o'clock. Pretty dead during the day
Corey • April 15, 2018Beautiful upgrade to the park, it looks amazing. It just needs some trees. There's very little shade. Still a great walk with your dog, and probably a good place for some outdoor events.
Jorge E. • October 14, 2010Great little park to play basketball. If you have younger siblings like I do it also has a mean jungle gym you can take them to. No fun getting sand in my Chucks though.
