Kiki B. • February 26, 2016Great open space for outdoor activities
Karen • June 22, 2018This park is absolutely gorgeous with many different trails for hiking. The Picnic House area is excellent for having a bbq - but you have to show up really early (7am) to secure a spot.
Luke • September 9, 2017Probably not the Prospect Park you're looking for, but a lovely park in its own right with huge trees and a lot of stairs to help make you feel accomplished
Kaushal A. • September 24, 2012The sculpture in the middle of the park looks like a sun dial. The reflection of the sculpture, may be a coincidence pointed to the right time assuming the floor was a clock.
amNewYork • July 21, 2013The park that gave the neighborhood its name is a perfect place (especially at sunset) for a swim or a picnic with a knockout view of the waterfront. It also had a recent face-lift.
Jennifer B. • September 6, 2013It's a great place for kids, but if there were less kids, like none, than it would really class up the joint.
Valerie • July 9, 2013Kind of creepy...random dirty clothes strewn about, and dudes sleeping ob the benches, oh and no kids!!
Jorene R. • April 27, 2013There's usually an older, more subdued crowd on Saturday and Sunday mornings; those games usually don't involve these scars:
Howcast • July 21, 2011Make your trip to the park with your dog a training session to learn manners and tricks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cg5b4_EphI
Nate F. • May 3, 2020nice uncrowded neighborhood outdoor space that remains open during the pandemic

L M. • November 30, 2011Amazing how quickly the fence has been fixed. The only change to the park is one bench is missing.
Judy S. • July 7, 2011The Ball Fields are the first park attraction you'll pass during the Prospect Park Walk-a-Thon on September 18th: http://twitter.com/#!/WalkforPPA
Lauren D. • April 5, 2015This is an amazing park. My favorite in Brooklyn. It's great for locals or tourists looking for a rest. It's what my tax dollars pay for and I big reason I live in the neighborhood.
Marvin C. • June 14, 2010What a neighborhood treasure and the instructors are great! Get a parks department pass in order to reserve court time over the phone.
Julie S. • January 13, 2019The Prospect Park Smorgasburg brings slightly less crowds then Williamsburg which is good. Still expect lines and make sure you bring cash (mostly cash only). So many amazing options!
Leticia d. • April 17, 2012The best park in the city! More for locals, no crowd, beautiful fields and if you're luck, you'll listen someone playing a cello or a guitar ;-)
Nate F. • September 14, 2020views are obscured by trees in the warmer months but once the trees are bare you can see to coney island
Lisa♥ D. • June 18, 2012Closed because it's under construction, but don't worry from what I have seen so far it's going to be worth the wait :)
