Andrea F. • July 17, 2021Great pool with half reserved for lap swimming. Safe, well run, and clean. I hope it doesn't get gentrified like Red Hook so I hesitate to review it, but the staff deserves all credit.
The Corcoran Group • June 20, 2012All you can bring to the pool is a towel and a book – what more do you need to enjoy this massive and clean pool. Oh yeah, don’t forget your lock and if need be, a white t-shirt.
Nicola R. • June 25, 2016Best Equinox in NYC by far; one of the best rooftop pools in the city, totally worth the cost of the membership. Amazing place to come to and relax after a long day at work.

Daniel v. • July 15, 2013Don't take yourself too seriously and you might just enjoy yourself. The waitstaff are courteous, kind and respectful. The ginger slush is perfect in the heat.
NYC Parks • June 27, 2012Betsy Head was the first recreation center designed with a public outdoor pool in mind. It's notable for its distinctive "rooftop observatory," creating a distinctive light-filled structure.
The Corcoran Group • June 20, 2012Membership to this center (and all others) is $150 a year. You’ll get access to the clean and slightly chilly pool. Beware of the mandatory showers, they’re cold too!
Zoey A. • August 24, 2017I like this park !
Houlihan Lawrence • June 7, 2012Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to dusk, year-round. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed and are not permitted in the picnic area. Great for a daytrip!
Jennifer N. • July 7, 2013You can't bring floating devices of any kind. Tough for the really young kids (and parents!) with this rule.
