Amira B. • August 24, 2013Great floating market without the tourist vibe. Delicious food. 100 THB taxi from the Wongwian Yai BTS. Totally worth it!
Jc X. • May 9, 2010You can take motorcycle taxi from Somrei to BTS Wongwienyai, they will take small Sois, very fun.
David W. • August 12, 2018Fun, touristy waterfront destination. Good blend of upscale and street market vibes. Free water taxis to other spots on the river.
Kayla H. • November 24, 2015I'm always struck with the traffic and Taxi has become rare item in that area. But there is nice local market that selling many things , Thai desserts, Thai, Chinese food, Issan Food and fresh stuffs
Quest M. • April 1, 2013I've rode the metro in a lot of cities but this metro system is by far one of the most crowded I've ever been on! If you are a traveler/tourist just take a taxi or thuk thuk for a comparable price.
Zeynep D. • August 23, 2015Scenery is awosome , breakfast is good enough only disadvatage of staying here is that it is far from city centre but taxi is very affordable in Banghok so you can handle it easily ;)
Cheen T. • September 3, 2017When telling your taxi driver to get you to "Thip Samai", a local said to also mention "...pratu phi phad thai...", in order to be sent to the right place
Dave R. • April 19, 2015Not easy to get to from the main water taxi route. Many locals have no clue how to get there from the pier. Ran around major construction & almost missed our train.
SomTum P. • February 19, 2012Thai sweets and other mouth watering snacks you can dream off. The only downside is transport, very hard to hail a taxi when you're ready to go home. Good place to shopping also.
Santi L. • June 10, 2010Good place for budget travellers which it located not within 15 mins by taxi to MBK center, Siam Paragon and etc.
Denise B. • January 5, 2016Deluxe Rooms are good and modern. Nice View from the rooftop with the swimming pool. Don't take taxi outside the hotel! They are more expensive than others.
Arnold • January 29, 2016The hotel is clean and good. It's has a nice rooftop bar and swimming pool at the 11th floor. Breakfast is also nice! Next to the hotel is the water taxi, which is a nice experience!
Sébastien L. • March 9, 2013Take the bus line 507 or 35 to go to Bangkok Hua Lomphong train station. The bus lines are past the taxi queue on the right
Rachnee T. • January 25, 2012Very long queue at office closing hours!!!
Simple Discoveries • June 17, 2016Ride the orange ferry (local) for 14 Baht. The express/tourist line is 40 Baht. Cheap way to get into the heart of old Bangkok is to use the ferries from the Saphan Taksin BTS station vice taxi.
John B. • February 22, 2015Get a tuk tuk from here to the palace, just be prepared to negotiate! Also get the river taxi from here to Jim Thompson house
Juliet A. • August 31, 2013Always try their river taxis and rate starts at 3 baht per person. Only 6 passengers allowed in front of the boat for picture taking and that should last for 5 minutes only.
