Kayla H. • November 24, 2015I'm always struck with the traffic and Taxi has become rare item in that area. But there is nice local market that selling many things , Thai desserts, Thai, Chinese food, Issan Food and fresh stuffs
David W. • August 12, 2018Fun, touristy waterfront destination. Good blend of upscale and street market vibes. Free water taxis to other spots on the river.
SomTum P. • February 19, 2012Thai sweets and other mouth watering snacks you can dream off. The only downside is transport, very hard to hail a taxi when you're ready to go home. Good place to shopping also.
Cheen T. • September 3, 2017When telling your taxi driver to get you to "Thip Samai", a local said to also mention "...pratu phi phad thai...", in order to be sent to the right place
Dave R. • April 19, 2015Not easy to get to from the main water taxi route. Many locals have no clue how to get there from the pier. Ran around major construction & almost missed our train.
Simple Discoveries • June 17, 2016Ride the orange ferry (local) for 14 Baht. The express/tourist line is 40 Baht. Cheap way to get into the heart of old Bangkok is to use the ferries from the Saphan Taksin BTS station vice taxi.
Rachnee T. • January 25, 2012Very long queue at office closing hours!!!
Arnold • January 29, 2016The hotel is clean and good. It's has a nice rooftop bar and swimming pool at the 11th floor. Breakfast is also nice! Next to the hotel is the water taxi, which is a nice experience!
John B. • February 22, 2015Get a tuk tuk from here to the palace, just be prepared to negotiate! Also get the river taxi from here to Jim Thompson house
Juliet A. • August 31, 2013Always try their river taxis and rate starts at 3 baht per person. Only 6 passengers allowed in front of the boat for picture taking and that should last for 5 minutes only.
Milla • March 17, 2015Definitely in my top5 hotels. Room, view, service - all excellent. You forget you're in BKK when breakfasting by the river. Family friendly.
