Emily R. • August 22, 2011One of the most magical parts of Central Park...you would never know you're in the middle of Manhattan. Wooded area with tons of trails, waterfalls and bird-watching.
Central Park's gem. Catch this gorgeous trail near Merchant's Gate, from there it's a 1.5 mi run up to the Reservoir (1.57 mi inner loop). Can also continue north towards the 102nd st transverse.
D !. • December 27, 2015Lovely track to train in Manhattan. Never in winter.
Marc B. • April 22, 2010Lose yourself in Central Park & rediscover your inner child, romantic, adventurer, athlete, & anything you miss about you. The magic is all around you as soon as you step out of nYc & onto its paths
Courtney R. • April 15, 2013A nice, quiet, green, hilly, not-crowded, kid-free place to run in the park.
Meghan M. • February 14, 2017Quiet, great place for fresh air, to get away from the rest of the city, running
Taiowa W. • October 25, 2016Good spot to enter. Can get a little crazy with the traffic light and the gas station. It is about 1.25 miles to the track from there.
Kimmie O. • July 31, 2020This is a beautiful area to enjoy waterfront views.

Victoria • July 18, 2018Gorgeous and peaceful wild nature oasis in the middle of one of the world’s busiest cities. Personally, the best part of Central Park at any time of the year.
Kimmie O. • July 31, 2020The walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan took me just under half an hour - this included stopping to take pictures of the Brooklyn Bridge through the “windows.”
IrmaZandl Z. • April 2, 2015One of the best bike trails in the city. Especially great if you can ride during the week. On Saturday and Sunday its jammed and not as much fun.
DanLikes • July 17, 2011Great Bike Trail. You can actually ride down to Battery Park and make the turn to the East River Drive Bike Trail / Greenway and continue up to 34th Street with both Rivers in view.
Jessica E. • September 25, 2011Awesome hiking trails that lead to great views overlooking the hudson.
TEV N. • October 9, 2012Enjoyable throughout the entire year, this park claims an amphitheater, bike paths, playgrounds, sports fields, gardens, children’s water playgrounds, and walking paths.
Twyla N. • January 15, 2020Gorgeous, historic park with hidden gems to be found everywhere. Take your time and stay on walking and bike paths!
