Place du Capitole square in the heart of Toulouse is a great place to stroll, get a bite to eat & get a feel for the city. You can find architectural landmarks including the Capitol Building here.

Fab little airport, speedy from curb to airplane, comfy seats, power sockets, free wifi (30 min sessions can be repeated without filling in forms). There's a small Paul bakery and some shops airside.

Well designed airport (at least the D section for now). Security gives you the trays well in advance of going through the scanners, quick walk to gates, nice light, open design and a good vibe.

If you enter from Check-in Area B explore also Area D (it is not easy to find by they are connected): here you can find lots of shops, including tipical souvenirs from Toulouse !!!

Free wifi easy to login, a good thing, otherwise this airport sucks in terms of organization, just missed my plane because of the total mess, so plan to be here well in advanced!

Have a coffee or beer at the cafe before you go through security as it's much better in the main check in area then departures

Of you fly with easyjet be prepared to walk down a 3 floor staircase before boarding...definitely not ideal with buggies and kids....

If the car hire desks in the terminal are busy, go out to the offices in the hire car car parks. Much quicker service

If you're flying w/ Air France and in a cab, say you're flying w/ British Airways. It'll save you 1 or 2€ and you juste have a 2min walk

The food in the departure lounge (Taste 'n Fly) is disgusting. Salads tired and uninspired, and the sandwiches appalling. And expensive.

Eat before you go through security. Once through security, the only hot food is of the microwave-your-own-pot-noodle variety.
