You want the spicy fish filet. Anything else is beside the point.
Spicy dishes were barely spicy (spicy fish filet and mapo doufu.) if you're white, you may have to make extra clear that you actually want it spicy.
Authentic Chinese food, mostly szechuan. Pretty much all of it is good! Ambiance lacking though.
I personally love their orange chicken and if you don't believe me try it yourself it's amazing
Best fish dish I've ever had! ❤️ this place 😘
of course the spicy fish, but shredded duck in XO sauce is a close 2nd
Come here with at least 8 people. Share everything.
If you like lamb, get the Hot and Spicy Lamb, it is my go to dish here! Delicious!
Call ahead. Wait times for take out can be brutal around 6-7.
Wonderful fresh Chinese food. Healthy comfort dish- Jade Chicken. Lot's of bang for the buck and I always have yummy leftovers to take home, a big plus. Jade Chicken is GF, a white sauce, no soy.
Egg drop soup has corn in it?
Best Asian food in Austin!
Very authentic yummy food. No real service and restaurant is pretty bare bones, but it's totally worth it. The spicy potstickers are awesome!
Listened to all the suggestions for the spicy fish filet and was not disappointed. Delicious and spicy, made me sweat!
Love this little place. Hidden in a strip mall, if you blink you'll be missing some of Austin's best Chinese goodness. Everyone talks about the Spicy Fish which is great but my fave is General Tso's!!
Order the Spicy fish, eggplant with pork & garlic, and house green beans. Request no MSG. Portions are family style.
House Fish with soft tofu is great
Get orange tofu!
Try the shrimp in XO sauce, it's XO f***ing good lol
Veggie soup with tofu very yummy. It's only $5 and u get a huge bowl! Veggie stir fry noodles are phenomenal!!! Just looking around they have some really good dishes that I can't wait to try next time
Cumin beef is VERY spicy, but excellent if you can handle it. Easily Austin's best Chinese restaurant, btw.
Pan fired dumplings are amazing. Huge portions for around $10 each, enough to share. Don't expect a relaxing experience though, it's always quite loud and family friendly.
spicy fish every time. eggplant too.
Lots of vegetarian options, large portions for ALL dishes. Stir fried pea leaves are awesome, but best as a side. Since the portion is large, split it with a friend and get another entree too.
Twice cooked fish has just enough spice, and the fish has a great flavor.
Get the lamb hotpot, hot and spicy fish, and hot and spicy lamb
Listen to the gentleman call out your order number in both Chinese and English
Can get packed on the weekends.
#717 chicken and white mushroom
#39 combination spicy fish fillet and mapo tofu
Best sichuanese in town. Spicy fish, sesame dumplings, chong Ching chicken rule.
Delicious & authentic food. The guy wearing a gold necklace is rude. Also, I expect it to be cheaper.
Everything is good. If you get here early you can get a private room off to the side for your group and eat family style
Huge food portions!
There is no maybe... this is DEFINITELY the best Chinese in Austin. Everyone is right about the Spicy Fish... there are no words for how delicious. All the tofu dishes so far have been awesome.
Make sure you get the spicy fish and an order of the green beans
Bring your own wine. May I suggest a white? Chenin Blanc pairs well with asian food.
Spicy fish fillet, mapo tofu, teppan black pepper beef, drunken chicken. Just get them!
Can't go wrong with the Dan Dan noodles.
Mapo is my new food. Try the twice cooked bacon!
careful w/ the mines! Aka sechuan peppercorn.
Order chong cing chicken, spicy fish fillet, sizzling beef and pork chop.
So fucking good.
