An odd location for this place makes it a hidden gem... the "Creole" chocolate mousse cake was pretty phenomenal.
Go to Cannelle and get a cheese danish and a cappuccino. Skip the brewed coffee, it's not very good but the cappuccino is phenomenal. All the cakes & sweets are great too.
An espresso in a paper cup and a very simple croque-monsieur for a quick lunch and you will be in heaven.
Salmon sandwich is good but a bit salty... Coffee usually sucks big time! Otherwise the best french bakery around!!!! Greaaaat desserts and pastries!!!
Great place in a strip mall next to Waldbaums. Pastries are light & flakey & not too sweet. Very delicious. Apple tart & almond cream tart are excellent. I'll be back to try everything else.
Almond croissants are a must!!
Try the chocolate crossiant as well as the tarts. Delicious!
I'm always amazed at the quality of the desserts & savory here. Favs include red velvet cupcakes (unique, a must have!), olive & fig breads, macarons (pistachio, coffee), croque monsieurs & pear tart.
I always drop by here on my way to the airport; the location is not really accessible to me, but they make the best french-style pastries in all New York, I can say.
Great selection, authentic French patisserie, great friendly staff and you can't beat the price/value.
paris brest. praline crunch.
If you need a dessert for a dinner party or special occasion, the chocolate mousse cake is a sure thing! Had rave reviews from my guests about this cake. Excellent tarts and cappuccino too.
Omg.. Everything they have is yummy! Love their cheese Danishes, bread puddings, tiramisu, etc. It's located in a strip mall next to Walbaums.

Red velvet cake, espresso cake, Pear tart, croissants, their bread, their sandwiches.. EVERYTHING is amazing here. Owner used to be the pastry chef at the Waldorf Astoria. Goods are cheap & fabulous!

Everything is good, but the St. Honore is exceptional.
Pecan pie. Not too sweet. St Honore!
They don't make the Apple Danish anymore :(
The peach tart is to die for. Not too sweet, just the perfect balance. Everything else is light & flakey. Nothing feels oily but we know there's butter in these treats. Almond croissants are yummy.
The almond croissant is sooo light and flakey!! Have one there and take another to go!
Must try the praline crunch.

They have great cheesecake!
Do not get the chocolate crossaint. Its all crossaint with a tiny piece of chocolate in it.
So many people come here, but there aren't enough staff to cope. Expect very long waits in the morning... But the wait is worth it sometimes!
Simply the best!!!!!
Got the creole cake for a family function, it was a big hit!
Almond croissants FTMFW!
If you have to get one thing while you're here, definitely try the cheese Danish!
