Cardamom Hill is a departure from the typical Indian restaurant, where Executive Chef Asha Gomez highlights the cuisine of her native Kerala—a lush coastal state of South India rich in spices, coconut, and seafood.
The chicken is the BOMB! Also a cucumber drink we had was soooo good.
My sinuses are cleared and I love it. This place is great.
Delicious food with a great atmosphere. Definitely coming back soon!
My current Atlanta favorite.
YUMMY!!! The Kerala Summer Salad and Beef/Potato Croquettes are a must. I will be back...
Great flavors. Fried chicken is eveything you dream it would be!
The characteristic of Indian food is use variety of typical Indian spices n vegetables that are grown in India, it's ok for health
Dining here brings me exquisite pleasure. Chef Asha Gomez and her wonderful staff make the top of my culinary favorites list. Her Chicken and Waffles define Southern cooking. Don't tell my mom. Lol.
Had the Kerala chicken and waffles. Delicious! Split it if you're not super hungry.
It's a win
The food is SO GOOD the tea is unbelievable very friendly service staff this is a win
The best tip I can give is to savor your glass of water because its not going to get refilled. Waitress disappears. Other waiters and hostesses you flag down just give lip service.
Chef Asha Gomez's famous Kerala-style fried chicken is a must-try for lunch or dinner (and is now available gluten-free)! PS: Never pass up the chance to sip on a cup of chai.
Try the Pork Vindaloo as an appetizer, & Roasted Duck as entree. Skip the over-priced croquettes — $9/ is embarrassingly high for tasty hush puppies.
Try the Roasted Pomfret
Try the Goat Biryani For Two
Try the Kerala Style Fried Chicken
Try the Sweet potato fritters
Try the Pork Vindaloo
Try the Pineapple Chili
Try the award winning KFC - Kerala Fried Chicken
Just get whatever the waiter suggests. Seriously.
The mango bread pudding is destination food. As is the pork vindaloo appam.
One of the BEST restaurants in Atlanta. Just go! Whatever you order will satisfy you.
Don't miss out in the Chai or the Kerala fried chicken.
Chai Tea is wonderful
Make reservations. Also you may want to wait until they get a liquor license.
Try the Non-Vegetarian Thali-Style Lunch Special - My colleague tried this, she said it was delicious! She liked the approach to the Thali concept.
Try the Chai Tea
Apps r better than the mains. Nothing is as spicy as I would have thought for an Indian restaurant. Creative but apparently still inconsistent per my friend's previous experience.
You MUST try Chef Asha's special chai, served with a pizzelle, spiced with ginger, cardamom, and black pepper. Amazing!
