A casual cafe menu gives way to a dead-seriously formal tasting version in the dining room itself, well worth riding through to dessert.
The cartel says forego the heaviness of the main dining room and rock out with coliccs in the front
The ambiance was great with playful music. The food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding. We had the tasting menu and the food was second to none. Would definitely recommend it.
We prefer the less formal tap room up front, where the prices are gentler but the food is just as good.
Colicchio says it all. The tap room has wine on tap and offers a less formal dining experience. If you dine in the taproom, order the pork belly or the coffee rubbed brisket, both are delish!
Was less impressive than I'd hoped... slow service, not huge portions...
The burger is divine - make sure to get it cooked med-rare. The fact that potato chips are served as an accompaniment - and not fries - is a major buzzkill.
Outstanding. Service - perfect. Duck - DELISH. Oysters and caviar, so yum. Tons of wine to pick from. A large selection of meat options. Nice job, Tom.
Make sure you order the Crab and Sea Urchin Fondue. Its heavenly
The bartenders are the best here. Jeff, Alex, and the rest are awesome. Quiz Jeff on movie trivia. He is all-knowing. Grab some cheese and a cocktail and enjoy the front bar area.
Get a table by the window and stay for an extra after-dinner drink with your special lady. Also, the octopus.
Looking forward to octopus and potatoes. Clams and pork belly
overpriced. some people come in shorts, same prices like at Daniel, but looks like a food factory for corporate guys. The waitress can not pronounce the word Alsace and mixes dessert with digestif
Get the chefs seven course tasting menu. It's worth every minute of it!!

Incredible food in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The wines are off the charts and are served in gorgeous stemware. Worth the splurge. #NYCFavorites
Romantic. Great dinner date spot. Their duck dish was great
Black and blue sirloin steak! Mmmmmm
the holy grail of brunch downtown. hallelujah!
My god. The bread.
The Tap Room is a less pricey option, but still has great menu and atmosphere. The burger is outstanding. Sub Brussels for chips for a better meal.
New expectation set for brunch. Everything was amazing. Try the bloody verde, the "shrimp and grits" and the bacon waffles with dick confit. Great service as always.
Sit at the bar and have Scott make you an off-menu cocktail!
Good service is hard to come by in NYC. This place is definitely not typical in that sense. Most attentive staff I have seen in a long time.
Try the bacon, rosemary, and parmesan scones. Check out "The Better Bacon Book" created for iPads to find the recipe from chef Stephen Carlucci.http://oapub.co/9a4d0f5d
The skate is ridiculous. Please order.
Order the Special Gnocchi in brown butter sauce with freshly shaved white truffle. Melts in your mouth. To die for.
Risotto and halibut. Don't forget dessert: Banana cake. It's a great gourmet version of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Ugly but delicious: the PHLT
Nothing beats a drink & a bite at the tap room bar. Scott, the great young bartender, will treat you right. Try the PHLT (pig head/lettuce/tomato): meaty, savory, satisfying. And ice cream sandwiches!
Service is outstanding as is the food. The beef tartar, pork shoulder bone marrow and peanut butter carmel crunch are so good! Will be coming back!
Josh the bartender is extremely knowledgeable in the whiskey art and best bar tender!!!!!
i loved the risotto...yum! the pork belly had intense flavor...the salmon was delicious
Great flavors: loved the ravioli with the morrels and ramps
Try the cheese plate for dessert. Yum.
Try a cocktail called the Sunset. Vodka, grapefruit and some cool, surprising other stuff.
Clams and pork shoulder; lamb breast is great, too.
Buttery oysters with caviar was my favorite plate that night...the wine list is extensive but the prices are over the top.
Should have at least one star- just as good an experience as DelPosto next door. The octopus and the truffle agnolotti are must haves.
Everything was terrific here, despite the price. The Squid Ink Campanelle blew my mind-- it's a must get!
Brisket for two...you will not regret it!
