This is a small station however the station staff have a bug heart. Arrived yesterday with family and a mountain of suitcases. No trolleys around but the staff rushed in and carried the luggage for us
This is the arrival station of the train from Dublin and the departure station for all trains departing for Dublin, takes 2hr 45m to go station to station xx
Plenty of ticket machines, but not enough choice for food and drinks.
Coffee and staff in AMT are very good - well worth getting a cup before/after a journey.
Not like grand central but nice
Buy your ticket with the machine :) it'll be more faster! In the train, you can use WIFI!!! Train is very short!
AMT Coffee is the worst luke warm coffee-ish flavoured water I've ever had . AVOID
Seats 5 & 6 on the Cork - Dublin train have power sockets behind them! They're the only seats in each carriage with this
Ladies bathroom located by the platforms. A trek from the seating area.
Try the trains!!
There's an automated ticket machine at the entrance to platform 1 if you're in a rush - never anyone using it ...
Stand down by the fire- hose on platform 1/2 to get on train before good seats are gone ;)
Amt coffee is great. And they don't charge u for cream:-)
Here here on the AMT coffee
AMT coffee is such a cheap and really nice place to grab a coffee. Never let's me down. I wish Heuston station had them.
I get the train once a week to Dublin for approx 50 quid by booking online. It only costs around 12 euro to fly if you book around 2 weeks in advance. Mmm..
Don't bother booking seat for Cork-Dub train. Lights above seats will prob not be working and even if they are some fecker might just ignore it!
