The best steakhouse in Chicago , excellent service !
Make sure to leave room for the Slice of Prime (a s’mores chocolate cake with graham cracker and marshmallow) and a batch of the Kickin’ Donuts: the ultimate interactive treat!
Who would of thought truffle oil and chocolate would go wonderfully on some popcorn! Ask the bar...addicts beware!
Food and service was excellent. Got the free appetizer for checking in on foursquare!
No place in Chicago dry ages beef with such passion as David Burke's.
Ask about the bacon fat candles...seriously
get the Sunday brunch dim sum special.
The Cake in a Can is worth the wait! And the extra batter is served before the cake arrives. Genius.
My absolute favorite place to eat steak. Love it here...
The 40 day dry aged burger is their underrated secret here. Try it and you'll realize that it's the best 12 bucks you ever spent. Comes with truffle oil french fries!
Love the "hangover" box!
The Lobster Bisque, Surf & Turf Dumplings, 40 Day Rib Eye, and Cheesecake Lollipop Tree were all fantastic! Ask for a tour of the steak aging room, it's pretty cool
The only steakhouse I still haven't tried in Chicago...
The buttermilk pancakes here are ridiculous...they are open for breakfast every day!
The bacon for appetizer was delicious!! Also love the cheesecake for dessert. Of you have a lot of guests and not enough room in your belly, these bite size cheesecakes are perfect.
If you're more of a burger person, get the burger. Its exactly what aged beef is supposed to taste.
Dry aged steak. Cocktail. Then you're good to go! $14 valet
Excellent service! Steak was delicious. The atmosphere is very date-y.
Try the Lobster Scrambled Eggs
Get the fillet mignon, truffle fries, wagu and green beans. Dessert: cheesecake lollipops and the donuts.
If you're into a more modern steak experience-- David Burke's is the place to go!
Excellent steak and sides. Don't forget to check in and show the waiter for a free appetizer. It was so incredible that it is almost unbelievable. Use the sommelier to make your wine selection!
ALWAYS check in here. A couple of days ago I got a free drink today a free appetizer for checking in on foursquare.
The salmon was wonderful but do it right - get the steak.
35 day aged Kansas City is so tender it melts in your mouth. Worth every penny.
lunch special is such a do. 3courses for 20 bucks
Unique steak aging room imparting unique flavor. Specialty cocktails worthwhile.
Love going here for lunch. I've ordered the burger every time because it's that good.
Surprisingly good cocktail program here, including some barrel aged. You've never had anything like the Petit Confit (whistlepig, absinthe, duck infused white wine).
Try the 55-day - I liked it better then the 75. If you're feeling ambitious, go for the cake in a can! Also fun to tour the aging room after.
I'm still drooling over their red velvet cake in a can. You have to order it at the start of the meal because it takes about 40 minutes. It's worth the wait.
The 55 day aged Ribeye is THE best steak in the US.
The food is good here, but I wouldn't say this is the best steak house in the Midwest. Copper rock has cheaper steaks that blow this place's steaks out of the water! Staff wears jeans..looks so tacky
My first aged steak ... absolutely delicious. I would come back here in a second. (And the seafood tower was pretty good! I'm spoiled with super fresh seafood in boston tho)
You do taste the notes of blue cheese in the 55 day aged bone in ribeye. The bacon on a stick, more appropriately named pork belly on a stick, was also the epitome of smoky sweet goodness.
Wonderful service from Corey D. Skip the 40, go for the 55. Be prepared to take some home.
Mixed feelings. Tried the 55-day ribeye. It was quite good, and among the better cuts of meat I've tried. But service was awful and steaks are, IMHO, 20-30% overpriced. Caesar Salad was delicious.
I felt like service was sub par for price point. But food is great so that's the final say on that.
Average food. Bad service
Wasabi Bloody Mary is Devine
