People tend to check in during these times:
This place is a hidden gem! Really great finds in the $2-$3 section, and a cool little garden in the back. Thought it was some sort of psychedelic poster shop for 2 years via the front window!
Great place for ppl who still refuse to acknowledge we're in the greatest financial since the Depression. Good critical and philosophy sections as well as decent black studies at fantastic prices.
Plenty of classics in decent condition. Be sure to check out sales books in the back yard.
Be sure to dig around. You can find some true gems here. I found a 1st Edition English translation of Mao's little red book here!
great place with calm atmosphere and nobody bothers you even if you stay for hours. plus the music is always good
The monthly specials of$2 and $3 books are nice to pick up but the antiques spread through the shelves are the best
Winner of Best Bookstore (Used) in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! The selection reflects the hard work the management puts into the shop.
Cool and stuffed book store. Excellent selection of DVDs as well, indie and rare movies.
My favorite little spot for used book purchases. I can browse for hours (& I often do!)
Sales staff should try looking at customers when speaking with them. Makes for better customer service.
Out of print browsing is amazing. Check out that history section!
Lots of old editions of books. Great leftist and critical theory sections.
Found definitely everything what I wanted!
A nice place to browse but the staff is rude as hell
Expensive books and unfriendly people.
I dont think these people know the Berlin wall came down 20 years ago...
My favorite little gem of a bookshop
I really enjoy the music while I browse for an hour.
Ehhh. Overpriced. Indifferent staff
Do a little digging and find some cheap gems
Good selections though
