Bring $3 cash to park, but be nice and hand off your pass to someone pulling in as you're leaving. Be prepared to wait a bit to get parked if your there during the popular hours of the day.

If you come here regularly, annual parking passes are available online for $100. Much easier than making sure you have exactly $3 each time or fighting for spots in the neighborhood.

Lots of deer on this hike. Steep uphill walking in the beginning. Doing the loop takes about an hour.

Park on Laurel Canyon to avoid a $3 parking fee. You can also park up the hill @ Tree People (Mulholland and Coldwater Cyn)

Parking fee has changed more times than I can count... But if you drive a bit up Fryman Road, you'll clearly see where the permit parking ends--and you can park in the residential area.
