Il Buco Alimentari & Vineria is a market, salumeria, bakery and enoteca dedicated to sourcing and producing the best items possible in the market.
In the morning, a casual cafe offering light breakfast dishes. In the middle of the day, an Italian delicatessen. And at night, a bustling bar and dining room serving a menu of rustic Italian fare.
Breakfast sandwich is the sleeper hit here. Great hidden spot for b'fast mtg
It's four—maybe more—restaurants in one! Breakfast: sleepy, quiet, delicious. Lunch: hopping; sit at the bar at back. Afternoon: get bread and cured meat to go. Evening: slammed; yummers.
The Porchetta is sublime.
The real secret of this place is that they serve breakfast and it's reasonably priced. $5 for delicious baked eggs is hard to beat.
This was right around the corner from our old Bond St offices and it was one of our favorite haunts. It's a great place for an afternoon cup of coffee.
Charcuterie! Pasta! Ribs! Ricotta! Agnolotti! Affogato! Agrodolce (cocktail with rye and aged balsamic)! Even the bread and evoo is DAMN GOOD.
From the best Porchetta sandwich in the world, the best short rib sandwich in the world, to perfect pastas and salads, this place is truly Magical! I come for lunch often. Meet me! - foodiemagician
Porchetta or Short Rib Sandwiches. The grocery is also fantastic. Their focaccia baguette is one of my favorite breads in NYC. Lardo, cheeses, coppa, whipped lard... Everything is delicious!
Awesome little local cafe - good for an afternoon coffee or a sitdown lunch/dinner
The offshoot of Il Buco just nails everything it tries, from the housemade charcuterie to the gelato for dessert. In a town of so many Italian restaurants, this is one to know.
This place got 3 stars from the Times and now you can't really turn up for dinner without a reservation. But they've got a sort-of secret breakfast that's totally delicious. Try the baked eggs.
The seared octopus at Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria, is not only done just right—crispy on the outside, a bit gooey on the inside—but comes with a supporting cast of chickpeas and pickled currents.
Spit roast beef ribs. Wow.
The branzino is a must like the cacique e peppe
Delicious Italian in a lively atmosphere, but the real stars of the show are the short rib sandwich and the porcetta sandwich. They're both totally worth the hype.
Short rib for two (or three). If you don't get it, you're totes a loser.
In the front: a café, a bakery, and a provisions shop for house-cured salumi or casual lingering. At the back, a dining area with a perfect little menu of Italian classics.
Great! Fried Artichokes, Bacala, and Housemade ricotta all winners. Friendly service too.
If you're with a group, you won't regret splitting the impeccably spiced, tender and multi-textured Spit-Roasted Short Ribs. Be sure to rate them on DishEnvy!
Great vibe, nice drinks, underwhelming food
The baked eggs with cheese is delicious.
The short rib sandwich might be the best meaty sandwich I've had in the city. Vainilla gelato was excellent too.
Great brunch, lunch and Dinner! Ribs are a must. if you miss out cone back for a rib panini for lunch!
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food. The porchetta sandwich lives up to the hype.
Bucatini was amazing. So was the grilled octopus - evidence of the chef's mastery of cooking.
Get seated at the long table in the back. But if you sit across from each other you'll be yelling all night. Get comfy and sit on the same side of the table.
OMG. That gnocchi was effing awesome. Eat it! Then eat some more for dessert! Rawr!
Seared octopus char, primi agnolotti pasta with butternut squash, sage and breadcrumbs. Finish with the sea salt branzino... You want it. All of it.
Build a meal around the short ribs. Can't go wrong!
Short ribs are ridiculous...like butter!!! Octopus appetizer is amazing!
Very overrated place. The atmospheres nice: alive, busy. But the foods nothin special at all, really heavy. Tartare appetiser was probably the best. If u care about skinny jeans its not the best idea
Short ribs are absolutely phenomenal.
Ricotta almond cake. You want it
The house-cured meats are amazing! So are the imported ones.
On my list!!
Ciabatta in their cafe
Bit pricy, but good!! Also check out the products they sell!
Fabulous service and cacio e pepe to die for!
Fantastic cappuccinos 👌
The porchetta is amazing though.
Super over-priced. All dishes were decent but overly salted. Anyway, you are over paying for ambience.
Seriously overpriced for the quality and quantity.
Simple & delicious breakfast sandwich.
The perfect cosy Italian eatery.
Italian, maybe parents place, 101
The porchetta is AMAZING!
