The pastas are definitely the focal point of Thompson's newest & trendiest spot. The gnocchi, agnolotti w/ sweetbreads & seafood linguini are outstanding. Pay with Cover at skip waiting for the check!
The gnocchi is phenomenal. Meatball and polenta, grilled endives, fluke crudo - all excellent. Have the Dobel cocktail and enjoy. Pay with Cover.
From the chef behind Dell'Anima, you're sure to have a great meal here - whether it's the lamb shank hash for brunch, or any of the fresh pastas for dinner. Try to snag an outside table if possible!
Order the apple cinnamon oatmeal pancakes for brunch and you'll dream about them later.
The garganelli verde is the best thing since sliced bread
Maple glazed squash is extraordinary. On the sides menu but might as well be classified as a dessert. Gotta get it.
Food is amazing! Personal favorites: broccoli rabe polenta, grilled fennel, the arancini is the best I've had in New York. Pappardelle with short rib ragu was also delicious. All in all, new favorite!
The brunch menu at here has a little something for everyone. You can get Italian pastries, salads, pancakes, fried chicken, pastas, and egg dishes. Order the polenta with shrimp, bacon, and tomato.
White Negroni for the win! Best cocktail I've had in a while.
Plan extra time in your schedule because they unapologetically sat us over 30 minutes after our reservation time.
Get the linguine !!
Roasted squash side. Also try the quail and linguini with clams. Say hi to ashley in the open kitchen!
Spice cake, apple cider sorbet, vanilla semifreddo, nuff said
Pork chop at an Italian place? It's delicious. Don't forget to pay with Cover!
Get there 30 min before your reservation and order a drink in the lounge. Great staff, and delicious pasta to boot.
Vanilla semifreddo dessert is a hit!
Charred octopus and brussels sprouts are amazing! Go for three courses and spread it out.
In a large, bright, occasionally noisy space, chef Gabe Thompson pulls off smart but crowd-pleasing Italian that's full of big flavors.
The Hash is key for brunch. Pay with Cover.
Fuck this place
Amazing! Everything here is delish! Highly recommend the asparagus salad, bucatini, brussel sprouts and blood orange sorbet. Service and atmosphere are great too!
Wow... Highly recommend the Duck Riso.
Must haves: braised short rib polenta, pappardelle oxtail ragu and vanilla semifreddo
Platt's Ideal Meal: Sweetbread agnolotti, linguine with clams, polenta with pork meatballs, pork chop or cod saltimbocca, vanilla semifreddo. http://bit.ly/WtN2G9
The first east side restaurant from the owners of Dell'anima & L'Artusi. Try the pasta, definitely.
The coffee crumb cake at brunch is possibly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten.
Order the polenta with mushrooms and chile- ditch the salad split a pasta n fish with someone and order some sides :)
Incredible food, incredible service. Went out of their way to make the night special - will definitely come back
One of the best by the glass wine lists (especially sparkling) you'll find. Just order by glasses over the meal for an adventure.
Everything was great but these dishes really stand out -the mushroom salad, the perfectly tender pork chop, hazelnut chocolate cake!!
A lot of great options for brunch which starts at 11. Try the grilled cheese with caramelized onions and tomato soup as a side to split for two. Free refills on coffee too.
Daniel the waiter is a sweetheart! Warm mushroom Salad: a vinegary miracle. The Sunchoke contorno was a delight. Also: Vin Santo! Just eat here!
Parpadelle and "dirty spicy" martini are amazing. Act like ya know.
Food & drinks were excellent as is the case with Dell'Anima, L'Artrusi & Anforra. The only gripe I have with this place is the staff I encountered. From bartender to waiter. Not a fan of the service
Skip the entrees and get some polenta + pasta dishes and a bunch of sides. And the tuna carpaccio is insane, do it.
Cinnamon + manhattan = delicious cocktail
Get a pasta dish as a starter, then the short ribs polenta as the main. Yes, that's two meals almost. But why not?
Window couch is great. Octopus was fantastic! Great wine selections by the glass like Wind Gap and Scholium Project.
Loved Linguine with clams and a side of Brussels sprouts.
Banana Tiramisu was amazing. Highly recommend to banana and caramel fans.
Parmesan French Toast
The food was great, but the waiters and workers took turns asking if we were done every 5 minutes to the point where it got frustrating.
Peekytoe Crab as starter, then enjoy whatever you choose ..
And the waiter we had provided excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service. Overall a great experience.
Had a great dinner at L'Apicio. Appetizers of burrata, grilled octopus and peeky toe crab were excellent and enough to be shared by 5 diners. Dinner entrees of ciopino, pastas were ridiculously good.
Food, service, atmosphere. "Everything is awesome" :)
Octopus, bucatini, lasagna. SO delicious
