People tend to check in during these times:
Central Texas BBQ without I-35
Get the smoked sausage
Brisket, sausage and deviled eggs
Get in line early because once they sell out, they're out! They start serving at 6 pm, but you can grab a drink and get in line before 6. Loved the pork ribs!
Deviled eggs with barbecue meat inside were great! Definitely worth tasting if you've never had them
Thrillist Top BBQ List: ...their amazing jalapeño cheese sausages. And some of the best brisket (and its beefier, leaner cousin shoulder clod) coming out of that Bewley smoker.
Tasty effing bbq with Mac and beans
Brisket and pork ribs are amazing. I loved the coleslaw, it was spicy but very delicious!
The best in Austin style BbQ north of Austin.
Killer W. Brisket and sausage were delicious.

Brisket is pretty awesome... great atmosphere.
Amazing barbecue. Get there early–they tend to run out of food quickly.
Lockhart is certainly a worthy locale to which one would seek to pay homage, and this place gets it basically perfect. Easily some of the best brisket in the Plex. Also habanero Mac n cheese. But $$$$
Have I left a tip here? Oh well... Meat. Delicious meat. Habanero bacon Mac and cheese ain't playing. Put it in your mouth... Don't cry. The cooler is mine! Hands off.
Brisket is amazing, juicy :)
try their blue cheese coleslaw... so good
If you're still hungry when you leave here - it's your fault ! Brisket , ribs , sausage - all yummy
Ribs were awesome. Six baby back ribs made 3/4 of a pound.
So much BBQ to pick from and buy it at counter and find a seat! Large bathroom! I liked the ribs
You have to go to the back to order .
The most amazing brisket and beef ribs. Just an FYI two ribs equals 1/2 lbs and 1lbs of brisket is enough for 2 people. Also the BBQ beans and Mac and cheese is amazing! A must go place for anyone
Brisket, jalapeño mac. Best meal I ever had.
If you want fatty brisket you need to ask the pitmaster to give you the fatty part. Otherwise you may get stuck with the non juicy lean part.
The deviled eggs have brisket in them.
They literally told me they were sold out of food at 8:03 PM. Avoid this lazy establishment, you can find better cleaner places in the area.
Yummy pork ribs...shoulder clod...habanero mac n cheese. Beans are sinful
Brisket Deviled Eggs. Lockhart pumps up the flavor and plays with the texture by incorporating bits of brisket into the mix. These little things are addictive.
The slaw. Lockhart has some fancier cole slaws, including a bleu cheese-based one, but the buried sriracha, paprika and cayenne in their titular one elevates it past just cabbage and mayo.
Get the bread pudding!!!!!!!
Ok let's see....the brisket is AMAZING, the baby back rib TO DIE FOR, the Lockhart cole slaw DELICIOUS, the potato salad YUMMY and the habanero Mac 'n Cheese (beware) SPICY!!
Saturday nights it serves up some pretty mean karaoke. Get here early, as with many of the best barbecue eateries, the choice cuts can sell out fast.
Beef rib is huge, tender, and flavorful. It is to die for! One is enough. $15 and avail only on Wed.
Come early, the ribs ran out at 7 this Saturday.
It's by the pound, people. Everyone in a group doesn't need to be in line.
Brisket. That's all you will ever need or want from this place. AMAZING.
You have to try to smoke deviled eggs they are awesome!
Get the Habanero Mac and a Lone Star
The brisket is magical. No sauce needed it melts in your mouth.
Don't ask for wheat bread. Apparently it offends them
Fabulous deciles eggs!
Try the beans!!!
#BBQKaraoke on Saturday nights 6-11 by Kerry of Off Key Karaoke!
Best barbecue I have had period. Will definitely be back
