Opened in 1901 & became the largest hotel in Waikiki. In 1905 Jane Standford, Co-Founder of Stanford University died from poisoning in her room, making it one of America’s legendary mysteries.
Great location for drinks both day and night
Beautiful outside bar with great live music!
The hotel has a shower room you can rent for those who stayed at the hotel. This allows you to hang out at the beach well after your checkout. The room was very clean and nice.
Great picture taking opp across the street of the plantation style front
Chill at the rocking chairs at around 10pm to see interesting things across the street.
The umbrellas and chairs on the beach are discounted after noon. We enjoyed the drink service and free ice cold pineapple while lounging there.
Very loud in those rooms facing the street. The rooms in the Tower are nicer than the Diamond wing. The Diamond rooms had a bad mildew smell.
Gr8 live music at beach bar. Very chill.
This is gorgeous hotel with great staff and service. The increase of street performers have made it SO loud in city view rooms. Not the hotel's fault but it can negatively affect your experience!
Great place to hang ALL DAY.. LIVe music $6 beers -
Make sure to try the Moana Sunset tea, a heady blend of ohelo berries and mango with black tea. Don't miss the treat that comes at the end—a tiny scoop of lemongrass-green tea sorbet.
I like to rock on their rocking chairs and watch ppl
You don't need to be a guest to enjoy the porch chairs out front. Take a load off and people watch.
The beds are so comfortable and everyone who works here is so nice. Relax under the Banyan tree all day and into the night
Great views. Great service.
Huge portion of edamame at the beach bar for only $9.
The Poke Nachos at the Beach Bar is sooo yummy!
If you have SPG status, valet parking is included with your resort fee. Otherwise it's 33 for the rest. You can always do self parking across the street for much less.
The best place to stay in Oahu.
The Moana coconut drink comes with free refills! Save $$$
Try the Mai tais!
Stay in the Tower, Ocean Front Rooms - totally worth it. Here is the view from 1184.
I love the Moana Surfrider
Best Sunday Breakfast buffet ever! Located on an old plantation era veranda w/ banyan trees & ocean view. A trio arrives to play old Hawaiiana. Check out Tea time w/ finger sandwiches, let time pass.
The rocking chairs on the second floor balcony are a hidden secret and a great place to people watch.
You really can't get a more beautiful hotel in Waikiki than this one. Their high tea is great to share with your mom/daughter. And the views of the ocean are spectacular!
Enjoy the sunset view, very beautiful and peaceful.
Split the Waygu beef with your partner for dinner and try the avocado smoothie for breakfast
Bar in the beach...amazing views. Bring a girl (or guy).
Strong and tasty mai tais here. The 10 bucks is worth it.
2 things. It's super loud of you have a hotel room with city view. 2nd, where are all the 25-33 year olds here... Lol I feel like I'm the only one.
Want to play on beach after checkout? No worries! Use one of two free hospitality rooms to shower later in day before heading out.
Love the frozen drinks and live music at the Beach Bar!
Probably the best beds in the world.
Ask for Harry! The Bahama mamma! Yeah...
Beautiful hotel. Great staff but room service for food is only open from 630am to 10 and you can't get food again until 5pm to 10pm unless you go to the snack bar at the pool
Enjoy a pina colada at sunset at the beach bar
The Beachhouse restaurant by the beach.
Chairs fill up fast...
Hang here while your wife shops at the market across the street. Beach view and drinks FTW.
Live music and great drinks at the Beach Bar.
gonna hang out at the bar here later
