People tend to check in during these times:
NJ Transit Rail - Main, Bergen, Montclair-Boonton, Morristown, Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Pascack Valley, Gladstone Branch, Port Jervis, Raritan Valley, and Meadowlands Rail Lines.
Longingly stare at New York while you try to forget that you're in Secaucus.
I was here last night I go every Friday night into sunday night
Perfect for getting to and from Penn Station-trains back and forth every 10-15 min
Best train station for getting to Penn Station nyc. Just about every train stops here. Never have to wait long.
Don't take the cabs. Prices are ripoffs. Order an Uber instead.
The elevator is the slowest I have ever ridden.
Transfers are so inconvenient. Got to go up 2 flights to go back down.
Don't throw out ticket because you need to exit.
Everybody down on track 2? Good. Just kidding, that train's coming in on A. Why did we switch to letters again? Who knows. Get upstairs, you need to be downstairs.
One step closer to home... Love the eticket convenience to NYC.
Smells in the summer and not enough choices for food while waiting
C lean:-) stressfree
On the weekend, you have to stand outside and wait for the train, because the station is closed ;)
The single upper-level elevator to the street (right by the turnstiles) moves as slow as molasses. But it's still a lot faster than walking, which requires two long escalators.
Stand behind yellow line!
10 mins to nyc
Huge train station that is very clean and easy to navigate.
All trains stop here.
Elevator takes forever. If you need one use the elevator behind the escalator. Best kept secret.
It's the last stop before Penn Station. That's about it...
Smells kind of weird. A bit fancy for being nothing but a transfer station.
Going home for the weekend
Hungry? Grab a slice at the authentic pizzeria located in the main lobby, sbarro is always good for a fresh slice.......
Keep your head up, this place can be tricky to navigate.
You need fart against the pee smell
wonderful day to enjoy the sweet smells of Secaucus Junction 😂😷
The parking is so far from the terminal. It's not saving me time or $$
Customer service here is a joke.
Food vending machines now accept credit cards!
NJTranait is as reliable as pulling out.
The bar is not so bad ....
If you died on this train no one would notice the smell.
This place always smells like piss don't wait outside
Large signs with large lettering for train arrrivals and stations, as well as color-codes train lines- great if you are visually impaired.
Don't walk like a dummy. Just assume there is someone directly behind you, in a hurry, missing their train because of your lollygagging. MOVE OVER IF YOU AREN'T IN A HURRY.
Smells like backstage at a circus.
A lot of people are going to the game!!
Run. The one you need is loading right now.
Stay to the right on stairs and escalators to let people by. It's common courtesy at train stations and airports.. If you block people from passing, you'll cause many to miss their connecting trains.
There's a dude playing the xylophone on track H.
Nice view of the city from some of the platforms. And sometimes the trains even run on time!!
Nice try with the Friday afternoon music this summer. Too bad the acoustics are horrible - they'd make Ella Fitzgerald sound atrocious!
Beautiful station. Love transferring here :)
Ppl are either friendly here or just too tired to stay awake :p
Dunkin Donuts workers are condescending and rude...
Consistently the most piss-soaked station in all the land. An impressive feat.
RIP FRANK R. LAUTENBERG
Going to pick-up or taxis? Kill 20 min by taking the elevator from concourse to street level. Alternatively, walk across the entire train station to end up below where you started.
It's big and there may be little time between your transfer, so you have to move quickly.
